Commanders' Bobby Wagner: Leads team in tackles again Sunday
Wagner logged eight tackles (four solo) and a defensed pass Sunday in a Week 11 overtime loss to Miami.
Wagner continues to provide steady output as a tackler, as he's recorded at least seven stops in all 11 of Washington's games so far this year. He has slowed down from a torrid season-opening pace, though -- Wagner has finished with single-digit tackles in five of his past six contests after reaching the double-digit mark in each of the first five weeks of the campaign. That's nitpicking his big-time production, though, as the veteran linebacker ranks second in the NFL with 107 stops through 11 weeks.

Commanders' Daron Payne: Suspension lifted
The NFL lifted Payne's one-game suspension Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Payne was unsuccessful in his appeal of a one-game suspension stemming from his actions during the Commanders' Week 10 loss against the Lions, when he punched Amon-Ra St. Brown. Payne sat out of Sunday's overtime loss to the Dolphins, and with the Commanders on a bye Week 12, his next opportunity to play is Week 13 against the Broncos on Sunday, Nov. 30.

Commanders' Jake Moody: Being signed by Commanders
The Commanders are slated to sign Moody off the Bears' practice squad, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Moody, who was a third-round pick of the 49ers in 2023, kicked for San Francisco in Week 1 and Chicago in Weeks 6 and 7, combining to make nine of his 12 field-goal tries and all five of his extra-point attempts in that span. The 25-year-old is now slated to take over Washington's kicking duties, with Matt Gay having been let go on Monday.

Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Six touches in Week 11 loss
McNichols turned four carries into 13 yards and added two catches on as many targets for 16 yards during the Commanders' 16-13 overtime loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Three of McNichols' six touches came in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game, though he was firmly entrenched as the Commanders' RB3 behind Chris Rodriguez and Jacory Croskey-Merritt. Through 11 regular-season games, McNichols has turned 26 carries into 181 yards and one touchdown while catching 15 passes (on 20 targets) for 139 yards.

Commanders' Chris Moore: Two catches in loss
Moore caught two of five targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to the Dolphins.
Moore was able to record his first two catches since Week 7, operating in a more significant role Sunday due to Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Treylon Burks (finger) being unavailable. The wide receiver finished tied for third on the team in catches and third in receiving yards, but his performance doesn't inspire a lot of confidence for fantasy managers moving forward.

Commanders' Matt Gay: Misses two kicks in Madrid
Gay went 2-for-4 on field-goal attempts and made his lone extra-point try during the Commanders' 16-13 overtime loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.
Both of Gay's misses came from 51 and 56 yards in the second and fourth quarters, respectively, but they turned out to be crucial misses in what was a close affair in Madrid, Spain. It was the second time this season that the veteran kicker missed two field goals in a game, and he is now 4-for-9 on field-goal attempts from 50-plus yards. Gay is now 13-for-19 on field-goal attempts and 22-for-22 on extra-point tries through 10 regular-season games.

Commanders' Zach Ertz: Four grabs in loss to Miami
Ertz caught four of eight targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to the Dolphins.
The veteran tight end tied Deebo Samuel for the team lead in targets, but the wideout did a lot more (7-74-1) with his volume. Ertz was also the intended target on Marcus Mariota's only interception of the afternoon on the first play of OT, setting up Miami's winning field goal. Ertz will head into a Week 12 bye with a 39-387-4 line on 57 targets, and his role in the offense seems secure regardless of whether Mariota or Jayden Daniels (elbow) is under center in Week 13 against the Broncos.

Commanders' Deebo Samuel: Finds end zone in OT loss
Samuel caught seven of eight targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to the Dolphins. He added three rushing yards on his only carry.
The veteran wideout scored Washington's only TD of the day on a 20-yard catch-and-run in the third quarter. Samuel has gotten into the end zone in back-to-back games, and he'll take a 53-470-5 line on 68 targets for the season into the Commanders' Week 12 bye. He's also chipped in 52 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Commanders' Jacory Croskey-Merritt: Works as No. 2 back
Croskey-Merritt carried the ball nine times for 28 yards and caught his only target for five yards in Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to the Dolphins.
Chris Rodriguez got the start for the Commanders and wound up seeing 16 touches to Croskey-Merritt's 10 while significantly out-gaining the rookie as well. The coaching staff will get a Week 12 bye to re-evaluate the offense, but Croskey-Merritt's role seems more likely to shrink than grow, as he's gone five straight games without reaching 40 rushing yards. On the season, he's produced 498 rushing yards on 114 totes for 4.4 yards per carry, but that number has plummeted to 2.9 YPC during that five-game swoon.

Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Leading rusher in Sunday's OT loss
Rodriguez carried the ball 15 times for 79 yards and caught his only target for six yards in Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to the Dolphins.
The third-year RB took the lead in the Washington backfield, getting 16 touches to Jacory Croskey-Merritt's 10 and out-gaining the rookie 85 scrimmage yards to 33. The workload and yardage total were also season highs for Rodriguez, and he's making a solid case to break out of the Commanders' committee and take over the clear No. 1 job on the other side of the team's Week 12 bye. Rodriguez has already set new career highs with 60 carries for 279 rushing yards and three TDs through nine games.

Commanders' Marcus Mariota: Back-breaking INT in Madrid
Mariota completed 20 of 30 passes for 213 yards and a touchdown with an interception in Sunday's 16-13 overtime loss to the Dolphins. He added 49 rushing yards on four carries.
The veteran QB looked sharp early in the game, but his play seemed to slip after he briefly left late in the third quarter to be checked for a concussion. While he cleared the concussion check, his only turnover of the game came on Washington's first play of OT, when his pass to Zach Ertz got intercepted by Jack Jones to set up Miami's game-winning field goal. Mariota has a lackluster 7:5 TD:INT in his seven appearances this season, and with the Commanders on bye next week, there's at least a chance Jayden Daniels (elbow) could be back under center in Week 13 against the Broncos.

Commanders' Jaylin Lane: Sustains hip injury Sunday
Lane was forced out of Sunday's game against the Dolphins in Madrid during the third quarter due to a hip injury and is listed as questionable to return.
The rookie wideout hauled in his lone target for a 13-yard gain and returned one punt for zero yards before checking out of the contest with the hip issue.

Commanders' Marcus Mariota: Checks back into Sunday's game
Mariota returned to Sunday's game against the Dolphins in Madrid in the fourth quarter after clearing an evaluation for a concussion.
Mariota was forced out of the game with 3:41 left in the third quarter after taking a hard fall to the turf on an incomplete pass. Backup Josh Johnson stepped in to play one snap before Washington punted the ball away, but after passing all concussion testing, Mariota was cleared to re-enter the game on the Commanders' first possession of the fourth quarter.
