  • Predators' Filip Forsberg: Scores in Sunday's win

Forsberg scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Sabres. Forsberg snapped a two-game skid -- just his second drought of that length all season -- with a first-period tally. The winger racked up a stellar 19 points over 13 games in November. He's at 13 tallies, 28 points, 97 shots, 41 hits and a plus-2 rating through 24 appearances overall. Forsberg's excellent chemistry with Ryan O'Reilly has played a part in his strong campaign, which has him on pace to exceed 80 points for just the second time in his career.

Forsberg's fantasy stock was low after he missed two months to end last season, but he's rewarded confident fantasy managers with 11 goals, 14 helpers, nine power-play points, 83 shots on net, 31 hits and a plus-1 rating through 20 outings this season.

Forsberg is kryptonite to the Blues. He has 38 points (17 goals, 21 assists) in 36 games against them, so check the Preds' schedule and put their next game against the Blues into your calendar.

Forsberg ended up with six shots on goal and three hits, while the veteran winger won his only faceoff attempt in 21:20 of ice time across 22 shifts. He has scored at least one goal in three straight games, going for five goals and six points during the streak, and the 29-year-old has six goals and 13 points across the past eight outings. He'll try and stay hot Saturday against the visiting Blackhawks.

  • Predators' Filip Forsberg: Explodes for three points

Forsberg scored two goals on seven shots and added an assist in the Predators' 7-5 loss to the Coyotes on Saturday. Forsberg was able to light the lamp once in the first period to give the Predators a 2-0 lead, and once in the third to tie the game at 5-5. He would also add an assist on Dante Fabbro's goal. This performance extends Forsberg's multi-goal streak to two games and gives him five goals in the last four outings. The Swedish forward has been red-hot to begin the season, scoring six goals and 17 points in 14 games. He should continue to play a huge role in the Predators' offense, playing on the top line and top power-play unit.

  • Predators' Filip Forsberg: Three-point effort in win

Forsberg scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Oilers. The 29-year-old winger had a hand in each of Nashville's first three goals of the afternoon, getting his team on the board himself in the first period before helping to set up Ryan O'Reilly twice early in the second. Forsberg is coming off an injury-marred 2022-23 campaign, but he's healthy to begin the current season and is trying to make up for lost time, piling up two goals and 12 points through 11 games with exactly half of his production (one goal, five helpers) coming on the power play.

Forsberg notched a power-play assist, five shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken. Forsberg assisted on a Roman Josi goal in the second period. Over his last three games, Forsberg has four helpers, but he's gone five contests without a goal. The 29-year-old winger has been more of a playmaker early in the season, with one goal, eight assists, 41 shots on net, 14 hits and a minus-5 rating over 10 outings. His shot volume is fine, so the goals should eventually follow.

  • Predators' Filip Forsberg: Puts up assist

Forsberg recorded an assist, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Canucks. Forsberg got on the scoresheet in consecutive games for the first time this year. He set up a Dante Fabbro tally in the first period. While consistency hasn't been his strong suit, Forsberg is up to one goal, seven helpers, 36 shots on net, 14 hits and a minus-3 rating through nine contests. He can score better than he has so far, so there's probably still more to come from the 29-year-old winger.

  • Predators' Filip Forsberg: Bags pair of PP helpers Saturday

Forsberg notched two power-play assists in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Maple Leafs. Forsberg's been a bit streaky this year, but he still has seven points in eight games thus far, with three multi-point games under his belt. Thus, fantasy managers shouldn't fret if he goes a few games without any points, as they tend to come in bunches. He's still seeing a ton of ice time, averaging 19:29 per game, the highest TOI of his career. As long as he remains healthy, he deserves to be in your fantasy lineup whenever possible.

  • Predators' Filip Forsberg: Two points against Rangers

Forsberg scored a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Rangers. Both points came in the second period, extending Nashville's lead to 4-0 before New York was able to get on the board. The goal was Forsberg's first of the year, but after struggling to stay healthy in 2022-23, the 29-year-old has looked very good out of the gates this season with five points in five games.

  • Predators' Filip Forsberg: Snags two helpers Tuesday

Forsberg notched two assists against the Lightning on Tuesday. Forsberg was limited to just 50 games last season but still produced at a .84 point-per-game pace, which would put him in the 65-70 point range over a full 82-game season. Despite 5:42 of ice time with the man advantage Tuesday, both of the winger's tallies came at even strength.

  • Predators' Filip Forsberg: Back to full health

Forsberg (upper body) is fully recovered after missing the final 32 games of the 2022-23 season, Jillian Jelnick of Fox 17 WZTV Nashville reports. Forsberg told Fox 17 that he's eager to get back on the ice after being limited to just 50 appearances last season. Despite his lengthy absence, the 29-year-old forward managed to finish second on the Predators with 19 goals and ranked fourth on the team with 42 points. If he can stay healthier in 2023-24, Forsberg has plenty of bounce-back potential.

Forsberg (upper body) has resumed skating, but he won't play Tuesday against the Canucks, Ann Kimmel of SI.com reports. Philip Tomasino will likely continue to fill a bottom-six role until Forsberg is ready to return.
