  • Golden Knights' Chandler Stephenson: Grabs two assists

Stephenson picked up two helpers in Monday's 4-1 win over Nashville.

Stephenson was a question mark for Monday's contest after missing Sunday's practice with an illness. However, the 29-year-old center would ultimately dress and pick up assists on two of Mark Stone's three goals in the Vegas win. Stephenson now has a goal and three points in his last two games after picking up just one point (an assist) in his previous 10 contests. Overall, he's up to 22 points (seven goals, 15 assists) through 40 outings this season.

  • Golden Knights' Chandler Stephenson: Finds twine Saturday

Stephenson scored a goal and added four hits in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Flames.

Stephenson was listed on the top line Saturday with Jack Eichel (undisclosed) joining William Karlsson (lower body) among Vegas' wounded centers. The goal was Stephenson's first since Dec. 17, but he was the only Golden Knight to solve Jacob Markstrom. Stephenson is up to seven tallies, 20 points, 49 shots on net, 23 hits, 19 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 39 outings. He may be able to jump-start his offense if he continues to see a bigger role, but he's been fairly disappointing for fantasy managers in the first half.

  • Golden Knights' Chandler Stephenson: Snaps slump with helper

Stephenson produced an assist and two hits in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.

Stephenson ended a seven-game point drought when he set up a Pavel Dorofeyev tally in the second period. Consistency on offense has been an issue for Stephenson this season. He'll be expected to be more reliable due to the absence of William Karlsson (lower body), who is considered week-to-week. Stephenson's filled in on the second line, but he could be replaced by Nicolas Roy if he struggles. For the season, Stephenson has 19 points, 44 shots on net, 19 hits, 19 PIM and a minus-8 rating through 36 appearances.

Stephenson scored a power-play goal on three shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Flames.

Stephenson has goals in three straight games, and he's picked up six points during a four-game streak. He also has 10 shots on net in that span after putting just eight pucks on target over the prior nine contests. The 29-year-old seems to be emerging from his slump while playing in a middle-six role. For the season, he's at five tallies, 17 points (seven on the power play), 33 shots on net and a minus-5 rating through 26 appearances.

  • Golden Knights' Chandler Stephenson: Pair of points Sunday

Stephenson scored a power-play goal on two shots, added an assist and blocked three shots in Sunday's 5-4 shootout win over the Sharks.

Stephenson snapped a 20-game goal drought Saturday, and he's now found twine in consecutive games. He has four points over his last three outings on the heels of a six-game drought. Fantasy managers have likely been low on patience with Stephenson, who has come nowhere near the reliable 60-point pace he established over the last two campaigns. He's at 15 points, 30 shots on net, 17 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 25 appearances in 2023-24. A low shot rate isn't helping his cause much, but there's reason to be optimistic he can turn things around with his current warm stretch.

  • Golden Knights' Chandler Stephenson: Snaps 20-game goal drought

Stephenson scored a goal on two shots in a 6-1 win over the Stars on Saturday.

He snapped a 20-game goal drought with a backhander from the slot at the 2:24 mark of the first. It put the Knights up 1-0 on the road and they never looked back. Stephenson has a point (one goal, one assist) in each of his last two games after posting one helper over a 10-games stretch from Nov. 5-Dec. 4.. It's been a bit mystifying for fantasy managers -- Stephenson delivered 129 points over the last two regular seasons and another 20 in 22 playoff games last season. He was even in the discussion for the Conn Smythe Trophy before Jonathan Marchessault was named winner. Stephenson might be putting his quiet play behind him, but his fantasy manager might be ready to throw in the towel. Inquire to see if you can make a buy-low deal.

  • Golden Knights' Chandler Stephenson: Helps out on power play

Stephenson notched a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Blues.

Stephenson has managed just two assists, both on the power play, over 10 games since he returned from an upper-body injury. It's unclear if that injury has lingered -- he's maintained his regular middle-six role amid the slump, which has also seen him go minus-6 with just 11 shots on net. Stephenson has always been more of a playmaker, but with just 12 points (five on the power play) and 26 shots on net over 23 contests, he'll be hard-pressed to get to the 60-point mark for a third consecutive season.

Stephenson logged a power-play assist in Wednesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Stars.

The helper was Stephenson's first point in three games since he returned from an upper-body injury. The 29-year-old hasn't scored a goal since Oct. 14, but he remains an effective middle-six playmaker. On the year, he's at 11 points, 19 shots on net, 17 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 16 outings. Four of his points have come on the power play and one other was a shorthanded assist.
