Verhaeghe posted an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Verhaeghe extended his point streak to five games (two goals, five assists) when he set up an Anton Lundell tally in the first period. The 29-year-old Verhaeghe continues to see top-six minutes, and he's been very good lately after ending the second round in poor form. The winger has 20 points, 49 shots on net, 55 hits and a plus-6 rating across 21 playoff outings.

Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Two points including Game 3 winner
Verhaeghe scored the game-winning goal on the power play and added an even-strength assist Monday in the Panthers' 6-1 win over the Oilers in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Verhaeghe has looked like himself in this second-round series, racking up two goals and five points over four contests. Verhaeghe has three goals and two assists over his last four outings. He reached the 20-goal mark with that tally and now has 52 points, 242 shots on net, 94 hits, 46 PIM and a minus-15 rating through 80 appearances. It's been a rough regular season for Verhaeghe, at least compared to the previous two campaigns, but he has 55 points in 69 career playoff games, so he should be able to turn up the offense in the postseason.

Verhaeghe scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Sabres.
Both points came in the second period, as the 29-year-old got the Panthers on the board early in the frame before helping to set up a Jesse Puljujarvi tally.
