Bennett leads the league with 15 goals this postseason, and he's added seven assists, 66 shots on net, 103 hits, 46 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 22 appearances. Should the Panthers win the Stanley Cup, Bennett will finish at or near the top of the list for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP.

  • Panthers' Sam Bennett: Two points Wednesday

Bennett scored an empty-net goal on five shots, added an assist, logged two PIM, doled out for hits and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Hurricanes in Game 5. Bennett filled the stat sheet in this contest. The 28-year-old also took a late penalty with the Panthers leading by a goal, but his teammates killed it off and he made up for the misdeed by finishing off the win with the empty-netter. Bennett has four goals and three assists in the Eastern Conference Finals, putting him at 10 goals, six helpers, 51 shots, 86 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-2 rating across 17 playoff outings. His 16 points have him tied for second on the Panthers this postseason, even with Matthew Tkachuk and one behind Aleksander Barkov for the team lead.

He's up to 14 points (nine goals, five helpers), 45 shots, 78 hits, 24 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 15 playoff contests. Between a career-best regular season and another huge playoff run, Bennett is positioning himself well for a big payday as a free agent this offseason.

  • Panthers' Sam Bennett: Leads team in goals and scoring

Bennett had two goals and an assist in Thursday's 5-0 win in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Bennett pushed the Panthers up 3-0 late in the first period when he deflected Carter Verhaeghe's shot from the left circle while on the power play. And his second snipe came on a rebound with 39 seconds left in the second period that forced starter Frederik Andersen from the Canes net to start the third period. Bennett leads the Panthers with nine goals, and his 13 points this postseason put him in a three-way tie with Verhaeghe and Eetu Luostarinen for the team lead in scoring. Bennett is built for playoff hockey, and the Canes don't seem to have an answer for his intensity or his snarl.

The 28-year-old has three points over four playoff games versus Toronto, and he's at a total of five goals, three assists, 29 shots on net, 45 hits and an even plus-minus rating through nine postseason contests. He continues to see time on the second line and second power-play unit.

Bennett has played at a high level this postseason, earning three goals, two assists, 17 shots on net, 21 hits, six blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over five appearances. His tally Wednesday was the game-winner, and ultimately the series-clincher as well, as the Panthers eliminated the Lightning with a 4-1 series win. Bennett continues to thrive on the second line and should play a major role throughout the rest of Florida's playoff run.

  • Panthers' Sam Bennett: Logs two points in win

Bennett scored a goal, dished an assist, doled out seven hits and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Lightning in Game 1. Bennett opened the scoring at 3:44 of the first period and helped out on the first of Nate Schmidt's two goals later in the contest. This was Bennett's first multi-point effort since his two-goal game versus Utah on March 27. He was limited to two helpers over the six contests in between, though he also missed four games due to an upper-body injury. The 28-year-old is known for elevating his game in the playoffs, and if he can do that after a career-best 51-point regular season, he'll give the Panthers valuable scoring from a second-line role.

Bennett logged a power-play assist, three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers. Bennett was able to return from a four-game absence due to an upper-body injury that was previously expected to keep him out until the playoffs. The 28-year-old was back in a second-line role and saw 17:51 of ice time, so it's safe to assume he's fairly healthy heading into the playoffs. He's put together a career year with 51 points (11 on the power play), 240 shots on net, 145 hits, 88 PIM and a minus-15 rating over 75 appearances in a contract year.

Due to Bennett's upper-body injury, Anton Lundell will slide into a top-six role. The 28-year-old Bennett is up to 23 goals, 24 assists, 220 shots on net and 141 hits in 68 appearances this season. Saturday's multi-point effort helped the center snap a two-game scoreless skid, and it gave Bennett 10 points in his last 10 appearances. He is just two points away from tying his career high of 49 from the 2021-22 campaign. With his large usage on the power play and recent momentum offensively, Bennett is a great play in all formats in the fantasy playoffs.
