  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Stumbles again on road in Game 3

Hellebuyck surrendered five goals on 26 shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Stars in Game 3. Hellebuyck allowed four goals at even strength and one on the power play in this defeat. Dating back to the 2022-23 season, Hellebuyck has conceded at least four goals in eight consecutive road playoff outings. The two-time Vezina Trophy winner will need to buck that trend in Game 4 on Tuesday to avoid a 3-1 series deficit before the Jets return home for Game 5 on Thursday. Hellebuyck owns a 5-5 record with an .848 save percentage and a 3.51 GAA over 10 postseason contests.

Hellebuyck will guard the road goal against Dallas on Sunday in Game 3, John Lu of TSN reports. Hellebuyck earned a 21-save shutout in Friday's 4-0 victory over the Stars in Game 2. He has a 5-4 record with one shutout, a 3.32 GAA and an .854 save percentage through nine appearances this postseason. Dallas has posted 2.67 goals per game during the 2025 playoffs.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Shuts out Stars in Game 2

Hellebuyck posted a 21-save shutout in Friday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 2. Hellebuyck's faced plenty of criticism in the postseason, but he proved why he's one of the NHL's best goalies in this contest. The 31-year-old didn't face a lot of traffic Friday, but he never gave the Stars a chance of a comeback. He's stopped 42 of 45 shots across two games in the second round and looks to be more confident, though he'll have to face his road woes in Sunday's Game 3 in Dallas.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Starting Game 2

Hellebuyck will protect the home goal versus the Stars in Game 2 on Friday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports. Hellebuyck took his first home loss of the postseason in Game 1, giving up three goals on 24 shots. He'll look to even the series in Game 2, though he'll have to contend with a Stars offense that has been coming up clutch in recent contests.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Loses on home ice

Hellebuyck stopped 21 of 24 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Stars in Game 1. Despite an awful first round, Hellebuyck went undefeated on home ice versus the Blues. That won't be the case in the second round, as the Stars won in Winnipeg after Mikko Rantanen scored three times on Hellebuyck in a span of 7:55 during the second period. This wasn't a bad outing by any means, but Hellebuyck will need to tighten things up in Friday's Game 2.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Tending twine in Game 1

Hellebuyck will defend the home crease in Wednesday's Game 1 against the Stars, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports. Hellebuyck had a stellar regular season that puts him in prime position to win a second consecutive Vezina Trophy, but he was shaky during the Jets' first-round series against the Blues, going 4-3-0 with a 3.85 GAA and .830 save percentage. However, the 31-year-old will remain in net to begin the second round and should continue to have opportunities to turn things around.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Does just enough to advance

Hellebuyck stopped 26 of 29 shots in Sunday's 4-3 double-overtime win over the Blues in Game 7. Hellebuyck stayed undefeated on home ice in the playoffs, but it took a late miracle from the Jets. They scored twice in the final two minutes of regulation with Hellebuyck on the bench for an extra attacker, and the 31-year-old finally had his moment with nearly two full scoreless periods in overtime before Adam Lowry's game-winner. Hellebuyck's 3.85 GAA and .830 save percentage over seven games are the worst numbers of any starting goalie still in the playoffs. He'll turn his attention to a second-round matchup versus the Stars, which begins in Winnipeg on Wednesday.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: In goal for Game 7

Hellebuyck will patrol the home crease against St. Louis on Sunday in Game 7, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press. Hellebuyck allowed five goals on 23 shots in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Blues in Game 6 before Eric Comrie entered the contest in the third period. The 31-year-old Hellebuyck has a dismal 4.42 GAA and a troubling .815 save percentage through six starts this postseason. However, he has won his last three outings in Winnipeg, as the home team has taken every game in the series. The winner of Sunday's matchup will face Dallas in the second round.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Road woes continue

Hellebuyck stopped 18 of 23 shots before he was replaced by Eric Comrie in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Blues in Game 6. The first half of the game made it seem as if Hellebuyck had moved past his road woes. That illusion came crashing down when the Blues tallied four times in a span of 5:23 after the midway mark of the second period. Hellebuyck allowed 16 goals on 66 shots over three contests in St. Louis during this series, and he was pulled from all of those games. Luckily for him, Game 7 on Sunday is on home ice, where he's been noticeably better at 3-0 with seven goals allowed on 58 shots in the first round.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Starting Game 6

Hellebuyck will guard the road goal in Friday's Game 6 versus the Blues, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. Hellebuyck is 3-2 in the first round, but he's gotten there with an uninspiring 3.96 GAA and an .822 save percentage. He allowed 11 goals on 43 shots in the two previous road games, and he was pulled from both contests. He'll need to be significantly better if the Jets want to avoid Game 7.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Gets back in win column

Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 19 shots in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Blues in Game 5. It was far from a dominant performance for the 31-year-old, but the Jets' offense took care of business on home ice. Hellebuyck has allowed at least three goals in four of his five playoff outings this year, despite facing no more than 25 shots in any appearance, though he was pulled from the previous two games. The Jets lead this series 3-2 after Wednesday's win, and if Hellebuyck can overcome his road woes, he can send his team to the second round with a win in Friday's Game 6.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Set to face St. Louis in Game 5

Hellebuyck is expected to start at home against St. Louis in Game 5 on Wednesday, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press. Hellebuyck was incredible during the regular season, posting a 47-12-3 record, 2.00 GAA and .925 save percentage across 63 appearances. However, he's allowed a staggering 11 goals on 43 shots (.744 save percentage) across his past two starts, which has allowed St. Louis to even the first-round series at 2-2. Hellebuyck surrendered five or more goals on just three occasions during the regular season, so for him to have back-to-back losses of that caliber in the playoffs is quite a departure. This is becoming a theme for Hellebuyck, though -- he has a 4.27 GAA and an .863 save percentage across 14 playoff starts over the last three years despite being one of the league's best regular-season goaltenders over the same span.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Pulled from second straight game

Hellebuyck surrendered five goals on 18 shots in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Blues in Game 4. The Blues put up three goals over a span of 8:08 in the second half of the second period to take control of the game. Hellebuyck came out for the third but was pulled after Robert Thomas scored early in that frame. This was Hellebuyck's second straight early exit from a game, and he's now allowed 15 goals over four first-round contests. He isn't facing a particularly heavy workload, but the Blues have been opportunistic. Even with these struggles, the Jets are unlikely to turn away from Hellebuyck in favor of Eric Comrie for Wednesday's Game 5 on home ice. Head coach Scott Arniel expressed full confidence in Hellebuyck following Sunday's loss, Murat Ates of The Athletic reports.

Hellebuyck stopped 19 of 25 shots in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Blues in Game 3. Hellebuyck was pulled midway through the third period after allowing the sixth goal to Alexei Toropchenko. This outing ended Hellebuyck's six-game winning streak. He's had middling performances in the playoffs so far, allowing 10 goals on 64 shots over three games. He'll look to get back on track in Sunday's Game 4 on the road.

Hellebuyck has allowed four goals on 39 shots over the first two games of the series. He's won six consecutive contests dating back to an April 7 win over the Blues in the regular season. Hellebuyck will continue to be the backbone of the Jets' lineup, and he should give them a chance to be competitive every game.

Hellebuyck made 21 saves in Monday's 2-1 win over the Blues in Game 2 of their first-round series. The only puck to get past Hellebuyck came on a St. Louis power play late in the first period. The 31-year-old netminder is coming off the best regular season of his career with 47 wins, a 2.00 GAA and a .925 save percentage -- marks that ranked first, first and second in the NHL, respectively -- and Hellebuyck has carried that form right into the postseason. He'll look to put the Jets up 3-0 when the series shifts to St. Louis on Thursday for Game 3.

Hellebuyck is slated to start in Monday's Game 2 at home against the Blues, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. Hellebuyck was stellar during the regular season but faltered slightly in Game 1 of the first-round series Saturday, allowing three goals on 17 shots (.824 save percentage). However, the Jets still secured a 5-3 victory, and Hellebuyck will have a chance to right the ship Monday.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Yields three goals in Game 1 win

Hellebuyck stopped 14 of 17 shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Blues in Game 1. Hellebuyck wasn't sharp early in this contest, allowing all three goals in the first 21:13 of the game. The Jets clamped down after that and played a strong third period, which included scoring three times to take the win. Despite the shaky performance, Hellebuyck has won five straight outings, including each of his last two wins over the Blues. Arguably the favorite for the Vezina Trophy this year, Hellebuyck will be between the pipes for the Jets for nearly every second of their playoff run.
