McDavid has earned six multi-point efforts already this postseason, with his latest featuring helpers on goals by Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. The 28-year-old McDavid has three goals, 16 assists, 47 shots on net, 17 hits, nine blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 12 playoff contests. The Stars have the defensive depth to make his life challenging in the Western Conference Finals, but it's safe to assume McDavid will still find a way to leave his fingerprints on most games.

McDavid scored a goal on five shots and added an assist in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Golden Knights in Game 3.
McDavid picked up his fifth multi-point effort in nine playoff games. The center set up the first of Corey Perry's two goals in the first period and added an equalizing tally in the third, though the Oilers were unable to get the game into overtime. McDavid is up to three goals, 13 assists, 35 shots on net, 16 hits and a plus-6 rating this postseason, as he continues to look like one of the best players on the ice at any given moment.

McDavid logged an assist, three shots on goal, two blocked shots and two PIM in Thursday's 5-4 overtime win over the Golden Knights in Game 2.
McDavid found Leon Draisaitl for the game-winning goal at 15:20 of overtime. This kept McDavid's point streak alive at six games. While he hasn't scored a goal himself in five games, he has two goals, 12 assists, 30 shots on net, 16 hits and a plus-7 rating across eight playoff outings.

McDavid was limited to a single assist in each of the last two games of this first-round series. It didn't matter as much, as the Oilers got contributions from their depth players. McDavid finished the first round with two goals, nine assists, 23 shots on net, 14 hits and a plus-5 rating over six appearances. He'll turn his attention to preparing for the second-round series versus the Golden Knights.

McDavid has two goals and eight assists over five playoff contests. The center set up Ryan Nugent-Hopkins for the empty-netter to seal the win that put the Oilers ahead 3-2 in the series. McDavid helped out on both of Evan Bouchard's goals in the third period as well as Leon Draisaitl's power-play game-winner in overtime. In addition to the playmaking, McDavid was the one who drew the tripping penalty on Vladislav Gavrikov in overtime. McDavid has racked up seven points, nine shots on net, nine hits and a plus-3 rating over three playoff contests in this first-round series. The 28-year-old contributed points on two of the Oilers' four goals in the third period that helped them avoid facing elimination in Sunday's Game 4. As McDavid goes, so will the Oilers, so he'll need to stay hot throughout the playoffs to keep them competitive.

McDavid recorded a goal, three assists, three shots and five hits in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Kings in Game 1.
McDavid found the back of the net for the first time since March 18, but not even his four-point performance was enough to lift the Oilers to victory in this series opener. McDavid has been displaying unmatched consistency, though. He's recorded at least a point in each of his past 18 appearances, dating back to Feb. 23, notching 33 points (five goals, 28 assists) over that span. His play will be a huge factor in whether the Oilers manage to advance past this first-round series or not.
