  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Scores twice Sunday

Panarin scored two goals in a 5-2 victory against the Islanders on Sunday. Panarin netted a power-play goal in the second period before rounding out the scoring with an empty-netter in the third frame. He has been held off the scoresheet only once through 11 games this season while amassing nine goals and 18 points.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Opens scoring in win

Panarin scored a goal on three shots in Friday's 2-1 win over the Senators. Panarin put the Rangers on the board at 3:03 of the first period. The next goal came nearly 40 minutes later when Alexis Lafreniere doubled the Rangers' lead. Panarin saw an eight-game point streak snapped against the Capitals on Tuesday, but he's been tough to keep quiet this year. The star winger has seven goals, 16 points, 34 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through 10 appearances. That scoring pace is similar to what he showed in a 49-goal, 120-point regular season in 2023-24, so perhaps regression won't be too harsh on Panarin's production this season.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Points streak reaches six games

Panarin had an assist and five shots on goal in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Canadiens. It's a rare night when New York deposits seven goals and Panarin isn't responsible for any of them. He did, however, extend a season-opening point streak to six games, logging an assist on Mika Zibanejad's goal 54 seconds into the first period.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Fills empty cage

Panarin scored an empty-net goal on five shots, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Maple Leafs. Panarin is making a strong case that his 49-goal, 120-point regular season from 2023-24 was not a fluke. The superstar winger already has six goals, six assists, 16 shots on net and a plus-4 rating through five contests this season. This was his first game without multiple points, though it's fair to assume his scoring pace will dip slightly over time. Even with a slight decline, Panarin is one of the most productive scorers in the NHL and a must-play winger in fantasy every time the Rangers are on the schedule.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Scores hat-trick vs. Detroit

Panarin notched a hat-trick, including two power-play goals, and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Red Wings. Panarin can make a compelling argument that he's been the best player in the NHL throughout the first week-plus of the regular season from a performance perspective. The star left winger has recorded at least two points in each of his four appearances in 2024-25 and has 11 points already, with five goals and six assists. His efficiency has been through the roof as well, as he's scored those five goals on only 11 shots, although his 45.5 percent shot accuracy is unsustainable. Panarin will try to keep the multi-point streak alive when the Rangers take on the Maple Leafs on Saturday.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Three more points Monday

Panarin collected three assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings. It's been a dazzling start to the 2024-25 season for Panarin, who's rattled off three straight multi-point performances while racking up two goals and seven points, including one goal and one helper with the man advantage. The 32-year-old will look to keep his hot streak going Thursday in a rematch with the Wings back in Detroit.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Two-goal night in OT loss

Panarin scored two goals, one on the power play, in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to Utah HC. The 32-year-old potted the Rangers' first two tallies of the night in a wild affair that saw seven goals scored in the second period alone. Panarin has two goals and four points through two games to begin the season, and he's showing no early signs of regression after his career-best 49-goal, 120-point campaign in 2023-24.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Two-point effort in rout

Panarin collected two assists in Wednesday's 6-0 win over the Penguins. He helped set up tallies by Alexis Lafreniere in the first period and Vincent Trocheck in the third as the Rangers came roaring out of the gates in their opener. Panarin is coming off a career-best campaign with 49 goals and 120 points, and while he might not reach those heights again in 2024-25, the talent around him in New York should mitigate any regression he sees.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Ready for Opening Night

Panarin (lower body) told reporters he would be in action against the Penguins on Wednesday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports. Panarin has been in and out of the lineup throughout the preseason but looks set for the season opener. With his return to action, the 32-year-old winger figures to reclaim his place in the top six along with the No. 1 power-play unit. The Russian came just one goal shy of 50 last year and should challenge for that mark again in 2024-25.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Won't play Friday

Panarin (lower body) won't play in Friday's preseason finale against the Islanders. Panarin exited Tuesday's preseason game against the Devils due to a lower-body injury, and he didn't practice Thursday. He's considered day-to-day for now, and it's unclear whether his ailment will impact his availability for Opening Night against the Penguins on Wednesday. Panarin had a career-best season last year, tallying 49 goals and 120 points while averaging 20:07 of ice time.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Missing from practice Thursday

Panarin (lower body) was not on the ice Thursday and is considered day-to-day, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports. Panarin still has time to get back to 100 percent before the season opener against the Penguins on Oct. 9. The veteran winger is coming off a career year in which he set personal bests in goals (49), points (120) and power-play points (44). While this was the first time Panarin reached the 40-goal threshold, he should be capable of doing so again in 2024-25.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Exits contest

Panarin (lower body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Devils. Panarin has been battling a lower-body injury throughout camp, and it appears he has aggravated it. He should be considered doubtful to play in the preseason finale Friday against the Islanders.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Good to go Tuesday

Panarin (lower body) will play in Tuesday's exhibition contest against New Jersey. Panarin had been nursing a minor injury since leaving a preseason game against the Islanders on Sept. 24. He accumulated 49 goals and 120 points in 82 outings during the 2023-24 regular season. Panarin will occupy a top-six role and see action on the first power-play unit in the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Sitting out Thursday

Panarin (lower body) will not be in action against Boston on Thursday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports. Panarin did skate Thursday, which is a good sign that he will still be ready for the start of the season against Pittsburgh on Oct. 9. In 82 regular-season contests last year, the 32-year-old winger set career highs in goals (49), points (120) and shots (303). While it would be fair to expect a little regression toward the mean for Panarin this year, he should still be capable of topping both the 40-goal and 100-point thresholds.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Dealing with lower-body injury

Panarin left Tuesday's preseason game versus the Islanders with a lower-body injury and is still under evaluation, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports. Panarin exited the contest in the third period. The 32-year-old winger is a huge part of the Rangers' lineup, so expect the team to take the utmost caution with his health over the rest of the preseason slate. The Rangers' next contest is Thursday versus the Bruins.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Gives Rangers life in final minutes

Panarin scored his fifth goal of the postseason in Saturday's 2-1 season-ending loss to Florida in Game 6. Panarin hadn't scored in eight consecutive contests prior to Saturday before cutting Florida's lead to one in the final minutes of Game 6. It was only his fourth point of the series after he produced 11 points in 10 outings across the first two rounds. The 32-year-old concludes the postseason with 15 points (five goals) and a minus-2 rating in 16 appearances. Panarin has two years remaining on his contract with the Rangers heading into the offseason.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Records two helpers in Game 4

Panarin registered a pair of assists, including one with the man advantage, in Game 4 against the Panthers on Tuesday. Despite his two-point effort, Panarin remains mired in a seven-game goal drought during which he has recorded just 14 shots. Still, the 32-year-old winger continues to find ways to produce, though his effort Tuesday wasn't enough to help secure a victory for New York. If the Rangers are going to make the Stanley Cup Finals, they will likely need Panarin to start finding the back of the net.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Most ice time of any forward

Panarin didn't register a point in Wednesday's 3-0 loss to the Panthers in Game 1. Panarin was on the ice for almost 25 minutes in Wednesday's loss, but he was unable to provide any offensive production for New York. It's been a tough stretch for the star winger -- over his last four games Panarin only has two helpers and a minus-7 rating. The 32-year-old is up to four goals, seven assists and a minus-5 rating in 11 contests so far this postseason. Panarin and the Rangers will attempt to avoid falling into a two-game deficit in the series when they're back in action for Game 2 on Friday.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Two primary assists in win

Panarin provided two assists in Thursday's 5-3 win over Carolina in Game 6. Panarin helped cut Carolina's lead to one in the second period when he assisted on Vincent Trocheck's goal at even strength. Panarin would add a power-play assist on Chris Kreider's game-tying goal shortly after the midway point of the final frame. Panarin also had four shots on goal with a plus-1 rating in 20:39 of ice time. The 32-year-old forward is up to four goals and seven assists in 10 contests with a minus-2 rating this postseason.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Two points, OT winner

Panarin notched a goal and an assist in Thursday's 3-2 overtime victory over the Hurricanes in Game 3. Panarin set up Alexis Lafreniere's go-ahead tally early in the third period before eventually scoring the game-winner 1:43 into overtime, deflecting a Vincent Trocheck feed between his legs and past Pyotr Kochetkov to give the Rangers the win in Game 3. The 32-year-old Panarin now has three goals and eight points in his last four games. He's up to nine points (four goals, five assists) through seven postseason contests.
