Sergachev had a goal and two assists in a 6-4 victory over Edmonton on Saturday. After a slow start to the season, Sergachev has really picked up the scoring pace with eight points (two goals, six assists) in his last seven games. That includes five points (two goals, three assists) in his past two outings. Much has been made of Sergachev's slow start and his lack of output on the power play, but now he's flirting with a 60-point pace and another double-digit season in goals. You may still find a few disgruntled managers who may be prepared to move him. Remember -- any deal is for the future production and not the frustration of the past. Sergachev's best is yet to come this season.... See More ... See Less

Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Two points in win
Sergachev notched a goal and an assist in Thursday's 4-2 win over Chicago. Sergachev put the Lightning ahead 2-1 midway through the second period, firing a slapshot through traffic for his first goal of the season. The 25-year-old blueliner would add a second point with an assist on Brandon Hagel's empty-netter in the third. Sergachev came into the day with just three assists in his previous eight contests. Overall, he's up to 10 points (one goal, nine assists) through his first 17 games this year.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Notches 200th career assist
Sergachev picked up an assist in a 5-3 loss to the Blackhawks on Thursday. It came on the power play. It was Sergachev's 200th NHL assist. He recorded his first NHL point on Oct. 6, 2017 in a 5-3 win over the Panthers. All of his points have come with the Lightning. Sergachev should continue to provide well-rounded fantasy value while skating in Tampa Bay's top four and second power-play unit.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Three-game, four-point streak
Sergachev had two assists in a 6-0 win over the Sharks on Tuesday. He fed Brayden Point for the first Lightning goal at 1:41 of the first period, and then Sergachev earned a power-play helper on Steven Stamkos' snipe in the last minute of the first frame. Sergachev is on a three-game, four-assist streak, but his current 50-plus point pace has been overshadowed by Victor Hedman's better than a point-per-game pace out of the blocks. The power-play helper is a good sign for Sergachev because Hedman has been getting more of the PP1 time to date. We're confident Sergachev will continue to build on his success of last season. Relax -- no need to stress.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Quiet start to season
Sergachev has one assist and a minus-5 rating in three games this season. Sergachev is logging heavy ice time, but coach Jon Cooper has moved Victor Hedman back to PP1 over him, at least to start the season. The Bolts have struggled to stop opponents without Andrei Vasilevskiy guarding the blue paint behind them, putting increased pressure on the team's defensemen. Sergachev should get his points, but the next couple months could be challenging for his managers to navigate.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Gets two points in loss

Sergachev took a huge leap forward this season and finished with 10 goals and 54 assists, including 27 power-play points (three goals, 24 assists). Sergachev should continue to see a ton of ice time during Tampa Bay's first-round playoff series against the Maple Leafs.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Iffy for regular-season finale
Sergachev (personal) may not be available for Thursday night's regular-season finale versus the Red Wings, Gabby Shirley of Bally Sports Florida reports. According to coach Jon Cooper, Sergachev is "on baby watch," leaving the defender's status versus Detroit up in the air. He's up to 10 goals and 62 points in 78 contests this season. Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Not playing Saturday
Sergachev won't be in the lineup in Ottawa on Saturday, as he is back home for the birth of his child. Sergachev is having a career year, scoring nine times and adding 51 assists in 77 games. His spot on the first power play will be taken over by Victor Hedman on Saturday.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Extends point streak
Sergachev produced a power-play assist in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Rangers. Sergachev left Saturday's game against the Islanders with an undisclosed injury, but the relatively long break between games was enough for him to suit up against the Blueshirts. A breakout performer in 2022-23, Sergachev has at least one point in four straight contests with the hot streak comprised of a goal and four helpers. He's garnered nine goals and 51 helpers on the season.... See More ... See Less -

Sergachev (undisclosed) is expected to play Wednesday versus the Rangers, Gabby Shirley of Bally Sports Florida reports. Sergachev is expected to play after leaving Saturday's contest with an injury. Haydn Fleury and Zach Bogosian are expected to be the Lightning's healthy scratches on the back end for Wednesday's games.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Leaves with injury in third period
Sergachev (undisclosed) left Saturday's game versus the Islanders in the third period, and there was no update on his injury after the game, Chris Krenn of the Lightning's official site reports. Sergachev was productive before his exit, scoring a goal and adding an assist over 20:47 of ice time. He's up to 59 points on the season, but the Lightning will be cautious about bringing him back from injury after clinching their playoff spot with Saturday's 5-0 win. An update on the 24-year-old should be available prior to Wednesday's game against the Rangers.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Playmaking machine
Sergachev put up two assists in a 4-3 shootout win over New Jersey on Thursday. It was his fourth, two-assist game in his last six contests. Sergachev has become the Bolts' go-to offensive defender this season, ahead of Victor Hedman. The 24-year-old has 44 assists (51 points), including 22 on the power play, in 67 games. Hedman has 43 points, including 12 PPP, in 64 games.... See More ... See Less -
Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Three-game, six-point streak
Sergachev delivered two assists in a 3-1 win over Chicago on Saturday. It's Sergachev's third consecutive two-assist game. His impressive season continues. Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Shows up despite big team loss
Sergachev produced an assist Monday in a 7-1 loss to the Panthers. Obviously, this was an ugly game for the Bolts, but Sergachev managing an assist on the lone goal serves as a subtle reminder of the outstanding campaign that he's having in 2022-23. The 24-year-old blueliner is up to six goals, 28 assists, 62 hits and 99 blocked shots through 47 games, plus he's registered 15 power-play points for a career-best pace in that key special teams spot.... Lightning's Mikhail Sergachev: Two points against Wild
Sergachev collected two assists while adding four shots on net, five hits, two PIM, a blocked shot and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-2 win over Minnesota. It was a typically full line in the box score for Sergachev, although he was also mostly responsible for a short-handed tally by the Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek as the Tampa Bay defenseman whiffed as he tried to bat the puck out of the air at the Minnesota blue line before losing a race to Eriksson Ek, who then scored on a breakaway. Sergachev had only two points, both helpers, over his prior 10 games, but he remains on track for a career-best campaign with six goals and 33 points through 44 games.... See More ... See Less
