Roslovic suffered a fractured ankle during Sunday's loss to the Rangers and will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks. The 26-year-old winger has been placed on injured reserve. Roslovic has gotten off to a solid start with two goals and eight points through 13 games this season, so this is somewhat of a significant loss for the Blue Jackets. With Roslovic facing a long-term absence, Mathieu Olivier and Emil Bemstrom will both be in contention for expanded roles for the foreseeable future.... See More ... See Less

Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Three-point performance Thursday
Roslovic scored an even-strength goal and added two power-play assists in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canadiens. Despite his impressive efforts in helping the Blue Jackets build a 3-1 lead midway through the second period, Roslovic arguably ended up being the goat on the night as it was his inadvertent screen of Elvis Merzlikins that allowed Cole Caufield to pot the OT winner. Roslovic is getting a chance to prove he can be a top-six forward for Columbus, and the 26-year-old has a four-game point streak going in which he's racked up two goals and six points, but he'll need to reduce the defensive lapses in crucial moments to hang on to his spot.... Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: First goal is OT winner
Roslovic scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 5-4 overtime victory over the Wild. He also added eight shots, a hit and a blocked shot to his ledger. The 26-year-old was nearly the goat on the night, committing a terrible turnover in the neutral zone that led to a Minnesota scoring chance less than a minute earlier, but after Columbus survived that flurry, Roslovic took the puck the other way, split the defense and beat Filip Gustavsson under his blocker arm. Roslovic moved up into the top six Saturday and even saw a bit of second-unit power-play time with Patrik Laine (upper body) unavailable, but he's tough to rely on as a fantasy asset given his erratic play and inconsistent role.... Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Earns first point of new campaign
Roslovic skated to a plus-2 rating with an assist in Friday's 3-1 win over the Flames. Roslovic is back on the horse after an uninspiring start to the new campaign. Prior to this contest, a pair of blocked shots held up as Roslovic's only meaningful contribution between two games that sandwiched his dreaded "did not play - coach's decision" designation last Saturday. Drafted 25th overall in 2015, Roslovic managed a career-high 33 assists among 44 total points last season, but he has an uphill battle this time around as a bottom-six forward. Additionally, he has been adjusting to a new coach in Pascal Vincent.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Healthy scratch Saturday
Roslovic was a healthy scratch for Saturday's 5-3 win over the Rangers. After a lackluster showing in the Blue Jackets' opener that saw Roslovic manage just one shot on goal and a minus-1 rating, the 26-year-old found himself in the press box. New coach Pascal Vincent is still trying to figure out what his best roster looks like, so Roslovic could continue to yo-yo in and out of the lineup, but with a number of younger forwards pushing for playing time -- a group headlined by Adam Fantilli, the third overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft -- Roslovic could have trouble maintaining a regular role.... Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Extends streak in return
Roslovic scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Maple Leafs. Roslovic, in his return from a two-game absence with an upper-body injury, got Columbus on the board in the first period, beating Joseph Woll from the slot to tie the game 1-1. The 26-year-old Roslovic has points in his last six contests, tallying four goals and four assists in that span. He's up to 11 goals and 44 points, one shy of his career high, through 72 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Expected to play Tuesday
Roslovic (upper body) is expected to play Tuesday against Toronto, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports. Roslovic, who will return from a two-game absence, has accounted for 10 goals, 43 points and 114 shots on net in 71 contests this campaign. He is projected to center the second line between Kent Johnson and Liam Foudy.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Won't play Sunday
Roslovic (upper body) will miss Sunday's matchup with Ottawa, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports. Roslovic also sat out Saturday's 7-0 loss to Florida. He has generated 10 goals, 43 points and 114 shots on net in 71 contests this campaign. Justin Richards is projected to center the second line again versus the Senators.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Not playing Saturday
Roslovic (undisclosed) will not play Saturday versus Florida, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports. The injury comes at an inopportune time as Roslovic is on a five-game point streak with three goals and seven points. He has 10 goals and 43 points in 71 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Extends point streak in loss
Roslovic scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Bruins. Roslovic opened the scoring in the first period with Columbus' lone tally of the night, swatting a feed from Liam Foudy on an odd-man rush to give the Jackets an early lead. Roslovic has quietly put up points in five straight games, tallying three goals and four assists in that span. The 26-year-old center is up to 43 points (10 goals, 33 assists) through 71 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Two helpers Friday
Roslovic notched two assists, one on the power play, in Friday's 5-4 overtime win over the Islanders. With Patrik Laine (triceps) potentially done for the season, Roslovic has moved back into a top-six role for the Blue Jackets and recorded back-to-back multi-point performances. The 26-year-old has been wildly inconsistent through his three seasons with Columbus, but he might have some fantasy value over the coming weeks. Through 68 games on the season, Roslovic has nine goals and 40 points.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Scores twice in OT win
Roslovic scored a pair of goals, including the overtime winner, in Tuesday's 7-6 victory over the Capitals. Roslovic picked up a power-play goal in the second period before scoring the game-winner in overtime, one-timing a feed from Johnny Gaudreau on the odd-man rush. The two-goal game snaps a streak of six contests without a tally for Roslovic. The 26-year-old forward is up to nine goals and 29 assists through 67 appearances this season.... See More ... Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Scores goal in loss
Roslovic scored a goal on one shot in the Blue Jackets' 5-2 loss to the Senators on Saturday. Roslovic knotted the game at 1-1 just 18 seconds after Travis Hamonic opened the scoring. This goal snaps a three-game pointless streak as he looks to get back on track offensively. On the season, the former Jet has seven goals and 35 points in 60 games.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Four points against Oilers
Roslovic scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added two assists in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Oilers. No one will ever mistake Roslovic for Connor McDavid, but he managed to match the Edmonton superstar's production for one afternoon, and his two third-period tallies made the difference in the contest. Roslovic's last multi-point performance came Jan. 14, though, and the 26-year-old has only six goals and 34 points through 56 games. He's back in a top six role for now, but Roslovic will need to show some consistency if he wants to hang onto it.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Generates helper in loss
Roslovic provided an assist in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Kraken. Roslovic forced a turnover and set up Kent Johnson on the Blue Jackets' lone tally of the game. The assist ended a three-game point drought for Roslovic, who had earned points in six of his previous seven outings before the slump. The 25-year-old's inconsistent play has led to him shuffling up and down the lineup frequently. He has four goals, 23 helpers, 73 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 47 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Scores in loss
Roslovic scored a goal on a team-high six shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks. Roslovic extended Columbus' lead to 2-0 in the first period, corralling an errant pass in the offensive zone before beating Anthony Stolarz with a wrister. The tally extended Roslovic's point streak to four games, though it was his first goal in 17 contests, his last coming on Dec. 17. The 25-year-old forward has four goals and 25 assists through 42 games this season while playing a middle-six role on a struggling Blue Jackets' team.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Two-point effort Saturday
Roslovic recorded two assists in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Red Wings. Skating on Columbus' top line between Johnny Gaudreau and Patrik Laine, Roslovic helped set up the latter for two of his three goals on the night. The 25-year-old hasn't scored a goal himself in 15 games and has a modest three tallies and 22 points through 39 contests on the season, but Roslovic will have some intriguing fantasy upside as long as he can hang onto that assignment.... Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Contributes four points vs. Kings
Roslovic recorded two goals and two assists in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win against Los Angeles. Roslovic scored a shorthanded marker at 18:00 of the second period, then he found the back of the net on the power play just 1:31 later. One of his two assists also came with the man advantage. The 25-year-old is up to three goals and 13 points in 24 games this season, including four power-play points. He was limited to a single assist in 11 contests from Oct. 25-Nov. 28, but Roslovic has been held off the scoresheet only once in his last six games.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Registers helper Friday
Roslovic logged an assist, two shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 4-1 win over the Jets. Roslovic ended a six-game point drought with the helper. In that span, he also sat out a couple of games with an illness and another as a healthy scratch. The 25-year-old has failed to claim much more than a middle-six role this season, producing seven points, 30 shots on net, 18 blocked shots, 14 hits and a minus-6 rating through 19 contests.... Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Spotted at practice
Per Blue Jackets team reporter Jeff Svoboda, Roslovic (illness) participated at morning skate, indicating he'll make his return to the lineup Wednesday against the Canadiens. Roslovic will likely return to a middle-six role and a spot on the second power-play unit following his two-game absence. The 25-year-old forward has tallied six points through 15 contests this campaign.... See More ... See Less
