  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Deals pair of helpers

Jarvis posted two assists and two PIM in Monday's 6-3 win over the Blackhawks. Most players wouldn't do well with a drop from the top line to the third line, but Jarvis hasn't struggled at all. He's played on the third line since the All-Star break, racking up three goals and five assists over his last seven games. The winger is up to 46 points, 128 shots on net, 87 hits and a plus-8 rating through 55 appearances. It's already a career year across the board in the scoring categories for Jarvis, who is tracking toward eclipsing the 60-point mark this season.

Jarvis picked up two primary assists, including one on the power play, in a 3-1 win over Arizona on Saturday. Jarvis is on a four-game, five-assist scoring streak. He has put up at least a point in seven of his last eight games (one goal, nine assists). With 15 goals and 23 helpers on the season, Jarvis is just two points from equaling his rookie high-water mark of 40 points from 2021-22. At this rate, he will shatter his career marks and may record his first 60-plus point performance.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Struggling offensively

Jarvis extended his pointless streak to four games in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks. Jarvis has been scuffling a bit lately, although he still has a solid 19 points in 27 games overall, putting him on pace for just shy of 60 points. He's still skating mainly on the Canes' top line alongside Sebastian Aho and Michael Bunting, so as long as Jarvis continues to see top-six minutes (he had a season high 22:14 TOI Saturday with 5:09 coming on the PP), he's worth starting in most formats.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Lights lamp twice Sunday

Jarvis scored two goals Sunday, one on the power play, during a 5-2 win over the Islanders in Game 4 of the Hurricanes' first-round series. The 21-year-old opened the scoring just over four minutes into the first period on a 5-on-3 man advantage before giving the Hurricanes a 4-0 lead early in the third by beating Ilya Sorokin on a breakaway. The tallies were the first of this postseason for Jarvis, and the power-play goal was especially remarkable considering he went the entire regular season without one. He'll look to build on this performance Tuesday as Carolina attempts to wrap up the series and advance to the second round.

  • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Garners assist Tuesday

Jarvis registered a power-play assist and recorded five shots versus the Senators on Monday. Jarvis has notched one goal and three assists in his last six contests, along with 17 shots on net. • Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Scoring drought continues

Jarvis failed to crack the scoresheet in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Maple Leafs, extending his current pointless streak to five games. Jarvis had a great second half of February with seven points in five games (including a hat trick Feb. 16 against the Canadiens), but he's been stone cold so far in March, with just a pair of helpers in his last eight games. He's still seeing a ton of ice time, with an average TOI of 18:50 in his last three games (including 1:33 on the power play), so he remains a decent fantasy start most nights.

A creative player with a spot on the top line and No. 2 power-play unit, Jarvis already commands attention in deep fantasy leagues, and his status as the 13th overall pick from 2020 suggests that there is plenty of untapped upside for future campaigns.
