  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Picks up win No. 10 in shootout

Soderblom stopped 18 shots in regulation and overtime and all three shootout attempts he faced in Monday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens. The 25-year-old netminder reached 10 wins for the first time in his career with the performance. Assuming he doesn't see action in Chicago's regular-season finale Tuesday in Ottawa, Soderblom wraps up his campaign with a 3.18 GAA, .898 save percentage and 10-18-7 record over 36 outings. A restricted free agent in the offseason, it's not clear if he'll factor into Chicago's 2025-26 plans with the team having Spencer Knight and Laurent Brossoit (knee) set to make a combined $7.8 million.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Slated to start

Soderblom is expected to defend the road net against Montreal on Monday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Soderblom is coming off a 31-save performance in Thursday's 5-2 win over Boston, and he stopped 38 shots in a 4-2 victory over Montreal on Jan. 3. He has a 9-18-7 record with a 3.19 GAA and an .899 save percentage through 35 appearances this season. Montreal sits 17th in the league with 2.95 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Busy in Thursday's win

Soderblom made 31 saves in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Bruins. Four third-period goals by Chicago gave Soderblom more than enough offensive support to secure his first win since March 1. The 25-year-old netminder had also given up three goals or more in all six of his March outings, stumbling to a 4.13 GAA and .852 save percentage on the month. While Spencer Knight has seen the bulk of the work since being acquired from Florida, Soderblom will likely get one more turn in the crease this season -- Chicago wraps up its schedule with back-to-back road games Monday and Tuesday in Montreal and Ottawa, respectively.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Facing Bruins

Soderblom will defend the visiting crease in Boston on Thursday, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports. Soderblom is 0-3-2 in his last five appearances, allowing 22 goals on 138 shots (.841 save percentage). He will face the Bruins, who are generating 2.68 goals per game in 2024-25, which ranks 28th in the league.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Poor showing Sunday

Soderblom stopped 26 of 31 shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to Utah. Soderblom started after not playing in the Blackhawks' last three games, but the struggles continue for the 25-year-old. This was his fifth straight loss, and he's given up four or more goals four times over that stretch. During that five-game stretch, Soderblom has gone 0-3-2 with a 4.36 GAA and an .841 save percentage.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Bounced by Blues

Soderblom turned aside 21 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to St. Louis. The 25-year-old netminder kept the Blues off the board for the first half of the game, but once Robert Thomas got a puck past him with just under five minutes left in the second period, things unraveled quickly for Chicago. Soderblom hasn't won a game since March 1, going 0-2-2 over his last four starts with an .841 save percentage.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Takes overtime loss

Soderblom stopped 38 of 41 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Predators. The game was closer than it should have been, thanks to an excellent game from Soderblom, as the Blackhawks were outshot 41-19. However, the 25-year-old netminder had no answer for Steven Stamkos, who scored three times on seven shots and could have had another goal had it not been played by a high stick. Soderblom has at least kept the Blackhawks competitive despite going 1-3-4 over his last eight outings. He's now at an 8-15-7 record for the season while managing a 3.05 GAA and a .905 save percentage over 31 appearances. He's expected to share the goaltending duties with Spencer Knight the rest of the way, and so far, it's shaking out as a true goalie rotation. That would line up Knight for Monday's game in Colorado, while Soderblom gets a more favorable matchup Thursday in San Jose.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Falls to Sens in OT

Soderblom made 22 saves in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Senators. The game-winner came with some controversy, as Tim Stutzle crashed the net just 46 seconds into OT and wound up directing the puck past Soderblom with his skate, but it was ruled a good goal upon review. The 25-year-old netminder has appeared in five of Chicago's last six games, going 1-3-1 with a 3.28 GAA and .894 save percentage, but with Spencer Knight joining the team in the Seth Jones trade and likely to be handed the starting job at some point, Soderblom's workload should shrink down the stretch.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Defeats Ducks

Soderblom stopped 28 of 31 shots in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Ducks. The game was scoreless after one period, but Soderblom had a 3-2 lead to protect going into the third and received enough support to get the job done. He snapped his six-game losing streak, earning his first win since Jan. 28 versus the Lightning. Soderblom is up to 8-15-5 with a 3.02 GAA and a .906 save percentage through 29 appearances this season. He's made great strides behind a bad team this season, but the Blackhawks traded Seth Jones for Spencer Knight on Saturday. As a result, Soderblom's status with Chicago has taken a significant hit. It's unclear if the team considers the 25-year-old a trade chip leading into Friday's deadline. If the Blackhawks close out the campaign with Petr Mrazek, Soderblom and Knight on the NHL roster, it could hurt the fantasy value for all three goalies.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Strong showing in loss

Soderblom stopped 34 of 36 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Utah. This was Soderblom's best game recently, but it wasn't enough to prevent his losing streak from reaching five games (0-3-2). The 25-year-old looked sharp but gave up goals to Clayton Keller and Lawson Crouse. Soderblom is now at 7-14-5 with a 3.02 GAA and a .907 save percentage through 27 appearances. Notably, this was his second start in a row. It's unclear if this is a signal of him pushing Petr Mrazek for the No. 1 job or just a one-off coaching decision by interim bench boss Anders Sorensen. The Blackhawks' road trip continues with a challenging visit to Vegas on Thursday.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Starting Sunday

Soderblom will protect the home crease versus Toronto on Sunday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Soderblom is 7-12-5 with a 3.01 GAA and a .906 save percentage across 25 outings this season. He will face Toronto, which is 12th in NHL scoring, generating 3.07 goals per game this season.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Takes tough shootout loss

Soderblom turned aside 35 shots in regulation and overtime and eight of 10 shootout attempts in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Blues. After a wild third period that saw five goals scored between the two teams, Soderblom kicked out five St. Louis shots in OT and was brilliant during the shootout before finally getting beaten by Radek Faksa for the winner in the 10th round. Soderblom has had some rotten luck, and some poor efforts from his defense, to begin 2025. The 25-year-old netminder is 2-3-4 since the beginning of January, facing at least 34 shots in eight of those outings while posting a 3.40 GAA despite a .906 save percentage.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Starting in St. Louis

Soderblom will defend the road net against the Blues on Saturday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times. Soderblom will get the second half of Chicago's back-to-back after Petr Mrazek played in Friday's 6-2 win over Nashville. The 25-year-old Soderblom has a 7-12-4 record with a 2.93 GAA and a .908 save percentage through 24 appearances this season. St. Louis is tied for 27th in the league with 2.65 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: In goal Wednesday

Soderblom will get the starting nod at home versus Edmonton on Wednesday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Soderblom has just one victory in his last six appearances, going 1-3-2 with a 3.33 GAA over that stretch. Still, the 25-year-old netminder will be making his third appearance in the Blackhawks' last four outings, suggesting he will be given an extended look down the stretch ahead of Petr Mrazek. Still, Chicago heads into the international break with a back-to-back against the Predators and Blues on Friday and Saturday, respectively, so fantasy managers can expect the duo to split the workload.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Big-time performance in third frame

Soderblom made 34 saves in a 4-1 win over Tampa Bay on Tuesday. Soderblom made 15 of his 34 saves in the third period to preserve the win. It was the Hawks' first road victory since Dec. 9 against the Rangers. Soderblom's overall record is mid, but his .910 save percentage is a strong metric, especially behind a porous team.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Between pipes Friday

Soderblom will protect the home crease versus Tampa Bay on Friday, per Scott Powers of The Athletic. Soderblom is coming off a strong performance in Nashville on Jan. 16, stopping 39 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss. He is 6-11-2 with a 2.92 GAA and a .907 save percentage over 20 outings this season. The Lightning lead the league this season with 3.61 goals per game.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Draws start against Nashville

Soderblom will serve as the starting goaltender for Thursday's road game against Nashville, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Soderblom has struggled over his last two starts, going 0-2-0 with a 5.11 GAA and .853 save percentage against the Rangers and Oilers. Across 19 appearances this season, he's posted a 6-11-1 record, 2.99 GAA and .903 save percentage, and he'll have a favorable opponent Thursday, as the Predators are averaging 2.47 goals this season, which is the second-worst mark in the league.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Lead slips away Saturday

Soderblom made 30 saves in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Oilers. Chicago took a 3-1 lead midway through the second period, but Soderblom couldn't make it stick, with Zach Hyman banging home a rebound on the power play midway through the third to complete the comeback for Edmonton. Soderblom has only one win in his last six outings, going 1-4-0 with a 3.93 GAA and .886 save percentage, but with Petr Mrazek also struggling since his return from a groin strain, the duo will likely remain in a timeshare for now.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Tending twine Saturday

Soderblom will patrol the home crease versus Edmonton on Saturday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Soderblom surrendered six goals on 34 shots in a 6-2 loss to the Rangers on Sunday. He has a 6-10-1 record with a 2.92 GAA and a .905 save percentage through 18 appearances this season. Edmonton sits eighth in the league with 3.29 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Blitzed on home ice Sunday

Soderblom surrendered six goals on 34 shots Sunday in a 6-2 loss to the Rangers. Tyler Bertuzzi opened the scoring for Chicago on Sunday, but New York answered with five consecutive goals. Soderblom didn't stand much of a chance due to the Hawks being heavily outplayed in five-on-five play -- all six of New York's markers came at even strength. Soderblom has been inconsistent in 2024-25, but he could get a look as the No. 1 netminder if Petr Mrazek (.893 save percentage, 3.23 GAA) continues to struggle. Through 18 appearances this season, Soderblom has a 6-10-1 record, .905 save percentage and 2.92 GAA.
