Kuzmenko scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Golden Knights. Kuzmenko has had an eventful week or so -- he was scratched twice and endured a four-game point drought before his goal Thursday. The 27-year-old winger ended the contest with 17:27 of ice time, his highest mark of November, and the goal has to help in regards to getting out of head coach Rick Tocchet's doghouse. Kuzmenko is up to four tallies, 15 points, 32 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through 21 contests. Kuzmenko will be back in the lineup Tuesday versus Anaheim after sitting out the past two games as a healthy scratch, Harman Dayal of The Athletic reports. Kuzmenko has chipped in five assists and nine shots on goal in his past nine outings. He has accounted for three goals, 14 points and 28 shots on net over 19 appearances this season. Canucks' Andrei Kuzmenko: Might be scratched Friday
Kuzmenko appears set to be a healthy scratch Friday, based on the line rushes during the morning skate, Dan Murphy of Sportsnet reports. Kuzmenko has three goals and 14 points in 19 contests this season, but he has been held off the scoresheet over his last three outings and was minus-3 in Vancouver's 5-2 loss to Colorado on Wednesday. He's still an important part of the Canucks' offense and has been averaging 4:16 of ice time with the man advantage this season, so Kuzmenko likely won't be kept out of the lineup for long.
