Schnarr was released from his professional tryout agreement with the Blue Jackets on Saturday, per CBS. Schnarr split between AHL Laval and AHL Ontario last year, picking up nine points in 45 appearances. It wouldn't be surprising to see him secure a two-way contract with another team prior to the start of the 2023-24 campaign.... See More ... See Less

Blue Jackets' Nate Schnarr: Receives PTO from Columbus
Schnarr signed a professional tryout agreement with the Blue Jackets on Tuesday, per CapFriendly. Schnarr has yet to make his NHL debut. He split the 2022-23 campaign between AHL Laval and Ontario, registering a combined nine points over 45 appearances. The 24-year-old forward is unlikely to make the NHL roster out of camp, even with the Blue Jackets' lack of established talent.... See More ... See Less -
Canadiens' Nate Schnarr: Traded to LA
The Canadiens dealt Schnarr to LA in exchange for Frederic Allard on Friday. Schnarr was selected by Arizona in the third round, 75th overall, in 2017, but he has yet to make an appearance at the NHL level. The center has three goals and four assists in 27 games for AHL Laval this season.... See More ... See Less -
Canadiens' Nate Schnarr: Lands two-way deal
Schnarr signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Canadiens on Wednesday. Schnarr spent the entirety of the 2021-22 campaign in the minors, notching 36 points through 63 games split between AHL Utica and AHL Laval. He'll probably stick in the minors for the entire 2022-23 season.... See More ... See Less -
Canadiens' Nate Schnarr: Included in minor-league deal
Schnarr was traded to Montreal from New Jersey on Monday in a swap for Andrew Hammond. Schnarr has been finding his offensive game with AHL Utica this year, as he has recorded 13 goals and 13 helpers, both career bests, in 43 games. Still, the 23-year-old center will likely finish the year with AHL Laval but could make his NHL debut at some point this year or next.... See More ... See Less -
Devils' Nate Schnarr: Back to bus league
Schnarr was demoted to AHL Binghamton on Wednesday, per CapFriendly. Schnarr provided depth on the taxi squad for Tuesday's game against Pittsburgh, and he's yet to see action at the NHL level this season. The 22-year-old will return to the minors where he's racked up six goals and 11 points across 20 AHL games this campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Devils' Nate Schnarr: Up to taxi squad

Devils' Nate Schnarr: Heads to New Jersey
The Coyotes packaged Schnarr in a trade to New Jersey in exchange for Taylor Hall and Blake Speers, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports. Nick Merkley, Kevin Bahl, a 2020 first-round pick and a 2021 conditional third-round pick are also part of the package heading to New Jersey. Schnarr was the Coyotes' third-round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old center oozed offensive upside in the OHL last season, compiling 102 points over 65 games with the Guelph Storm, and he's contributed nine points over 22 games with AHL Tucson this year. Schnarr is expected to report to AHL Binghamton.... See More ... See Less -
Coyotes' Nate Schnarr: Dominating OHL competition
Schnarr picked up a pair of goals in OHL Guelph's 5-1 win over London on Wednesday. Schnarr, originally a third-round pick of the Coyotes in 2017, is currently tied for sixth in OHL scoring with 102 points in 63 games. His standout season comes on the heels of a campaign in which he produced just 39 points in 57 contests. While Guelph undoubtedly has a much better club this time around, few could have seen this unexpected rise in production coming. Arizona rewarded Schnarr with an entry-level contract in December.... The Cannon@cbjcannon5D agoNot the best shift from the Jiricek-Bean pair. Jiricek misses a pass, sending the puck down into the Blue Jackets zone. And then Bean turns it over, allowing the Kings some sustained pressure. Some would say that that’s suboptimal
