He has a 3.10 GAA and an .896 save percentage in 19 appearances with San Diego in 2024-25. Clang's promotion comes after John Gibson (illness) missed Friday's practice. Gibson was expected to be available for Saturday's home game against Philadelphia.

Clang was called up by Anaheim on Monday but didn't make his NHL debut. He has a 3.76 GAA and an .882 save percentage in 12 contests with San Diego in 2023-24. The Ducks summoned Alex Stalock from the minors in a corresponding move.
