Dobson registered three assists in a 5-4 overtime win over Carolina on Thursday. Dobson has collected five helpers over his last two contests, propelling him to 21 points (five goals) in 22 games this season. While he's no stranger to multi-point games -- the 23-year-old had four already in 2023-24 going into Thursday's action -- this is the first three-point game of his career. At his current offensive pace, Dobson should be able to comfortably surpass his career high of 51 points, which was set in 2021-22.... See More ... See Less

He should continue to operate on the Islanders' top defensive pairing and top power-play unit.... See More ... See Less -

He's up to two goals and nine points in eight appearances this season, including four points with the man advantage. The 23-year-old is unlikely to maintain his current offensive pace, but he's nevertheless a great offensive defenseman and a serious threat to reach the 50-point milestone. He finished just shy of it in 2022-23, getting 13 goals and 36 assists in 78 outings.... See More ... See Less -

Dobson scored his first goal of the season in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Sabres. Dobson's had a strong start to the season with three points in four games while averaging a career-high 23:39 in ice time, and the 23-year-old has also contributed 14 blocked shots -- his prior career high in that category was 154 over 80 games in 2021-22.... Islanders' Noah Dobson: Shows grit in tough loss
Dobson recorded an assist to complement a plus-4 rating and eight blocked shots in Friday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Devils. This was a phenomenal effort by Dobson, but it wasn't quite enough to keep his team perfect on the young season. Islanders' Noah Dobson: Notches helper Tuesday
Dobson recorded a power-play assist and five shots against Arizona on Tuesday. Dobson leads all Islanders defensemen in power-play ice time (2:47 per game) and looks to have cemented himself on the No. 1 unit. In each of the last two seasons, the 23-year-old blueliner has reached both the 10-goal and 35-assist marks and has shown no signs of slowing down this year. While Dobson likely won't be winning the Norris Trophy any time soon, he does figure to offer decent fantasy upside this year.... See More ... See Less -

Dobson is tied for the team lead in power-play goals with five and is second on the team in power-play points with 17. Dobson has had another solid season offensively for the team with 12 goals and 25 assists in 62 games. While he excels on the power play, his even-strength numbers leave something to be desired, as he has only 20 points when the team isn't up a man. The Isles would also like to see his rating of minus-2 improve, but that may come in time for the young defender.... See More ... See Less -
