Bruins' Danton Heinen: Collects helper in win
Heinen notched an assist in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Heinen continues to fit well in a middle-six role with two goals and four assists over his last eight games. The 28-year-old didn't start his second tenure with the Bruins all that well, but he's rebounded into an effective secondary scorer. He's at eight points, 26 shots on net, 14 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 16 appearances this season. Without a role on the power play, it's unlikely his offense takes a significant step forward.

The 31-year-old center is up to 20 points, 45 shots on net, 28 hits, 20 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 24 outings this season. He remains in a second-line role, but it hasn't stopped him from staying on pace for a career year despite playing on the second power-play unit.

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Earns power-play helper
Zacha recorded a power-play assist in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Since he opened the season with three scoreless outings, Zacha has yet to suffer another multi-game point drought. He kept that true after a goose egg Saturday by setting up Brad Marchand's hat-trick tally in the third period Sunday. Zacha is up to eight goals, 11 helpers, 45 shots on net, 27 hits and a plus-3 rating through 24 contests. With consistency, a top-six role and power-play time, the 26-year-old is in a strong position to match or exceed the career-high 57 points he produced a year ago.

McAvoy notched a pair of power-play assists, four shots on goal and three blocked shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
McAvoy helped out on the last two goals of Brad Marchand's natural hat trick in the third period. The 25-year-old defenseman is back in a groove with four helpers over his last four games following a three-game point drought. McAvoy has been excellent in 2023-24, with three goals, 14 assists, 42 shots on net, 47 blocked shots, 33 PIM, 27 hits and a minus-3 rating through 20 appearances in a top-pairing role.

Marchand recorded a natural hat trick and took five shots on goal in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Marchand turned a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 lead in a span of 5:50 during the third period. Two of his three goals came on the power play, giving him 11 tallies overall. Marchand has scored the Bruins' last four goals to help them sweep a back-to-back this weekend, though he was due after going without a point over his previous five outings. The captain has 23 points, 84 shots on net, 23 hits, 25 PIM, 16 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 24 appearances this season.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Collects ninth win
Swayman stopped 24 of 25 shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Swayman followed up Thursday's shutout of the Sharks with another solid start. A late second-period tally from Boone Jenner put the Blue Jackets on the board first, but a natural hat trick from Brad Marchand gave Swayman plenty of support for the win, his second in a row and sixth in his last 10 outings. The 25-year-old netminder is up to 9-1-2 with a 2.08 GAA and a .932 save percentage. Swayman continues to more or less alternate turns in goal with Linus Ullmark, though the former has performed better and would be the most likely to snag consecutive starts on occasion.

Bruins' Linus Ullmark: Makes 37 saves in overtime win
Ullmark saved 37 of 40 shots in a 4-3 overtime win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
Ullmark did surrender the game-tying goal to Auston Matthews with just six seconds remaining in the third period, but he shook off that setback by making five saves in overtime to help secure the win. The Bruins goaltender ended his two-game losing streak to improve to 8-3-1 in 2023-24. He also has a 2.65 GAA and a .918 save percentage in 12 appearances this season.

Bruins' Kevin Shattenkirk: Scores first goal of 2023-24
Shattenkirk netted a goal in a 4-3 overtime win over Toronto on Saturday.
Shattenkirk's marker came midway through the second period to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead. It was his first goal and fifth point in 18 contests this season. Shattenkirk does tend to be utilized on the second power-play unit when he's in the lineup, but he's also been a healthy scratch in three of Boston's last seven games. As a result, he might not play regularly enough going forward to have much fantasy value.

Bruins' Trent Frederic: Supplies goal in win over Toronto
Frederic found the back of the net in Boston's 4-3 overtime win over Toronto on Saturday.
Frederic has been held off the scoresheet just once over his last four contests, providing a goal and three points over that stretch. He's up to six goals and 10 points in 23 games this season. Frederic is serving primarily as a bottom-six forward and almost never gets power-play ice time, so his offensive pace is unlikely to improve as the campaign progresses -- if anything, his current scoring pace is impressive given his limited role.

Bruins' Brad Marchand: Nets overtime winner Saturday
Marchand contributed the overtime-winning goal in Boston's 4-3 victory over Toronto on Saturday.
Marchand ended his five-game scoring drought as well as his eight-game goal slump in dramatic fashion, giving the Bruins the win over their division rival. Despite his recent cold spell, the 35-year-old has been having another productive campaign, supplying eight goals and 20 points through 23 outings this year. Now that he's gotten back on the scoresheet, it wouldn't be surprising to see Marchand enjoy a productive stretch.

Pastrnak scored a goal and registered two assists in Boston's 4-3 overtime win over Toronto on Saturday.
Pastrnak put the Bruins up 1-0 with his marker midway through the first period, He also provided the primary assist on goals by Kevin Shattenkirk and Brad Marchand. It was Pastrnak's second straight multi-point game, giving him a goal and four helpers over that span. Through 23 contests this season, he has 14 goals and 36 points, which puts him well on his way to surpassing the 100-point milestone for a second straight campaign.
