Sabres' Owen Power: Equals career mark in goals
Power scored a goal in a 3-2 shootout win over Toronto on Saturday.
Power is on a modest three-game, three-point scoring streak (one goal, two assists), and he has seven points (three goals, four assists) in his last eight outings. Power doesn't get power-play opportunities, and that has curtailed his offensive output. Overall, he has 24 points (seven goals, 17 assists) in 66 games after delivering 40 points, including 33 assists, in 79 appearances in the 2024-25 regular season. Power's seven goals this campaign equal his career mark.

Sabres' Mattias Samuelsson: Doubtful for Saturday
Samuelsson (undisclosed) is doubtful for Saturday's matchup against Toronto, according to Jourdon LaBarber of the Sabres' official site.

He has produced 12 goals, 36 points, 94 shots on net, 130 blocked shots and 109 hits across 64 appearances this season. Carrick scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals.
Carrick is already proving valuable for the Sabres with two goals, six shots, eight hits and four blocked shots over his first four games with the team. His offense probably won't hold up over time, but it's his defensive skills that made him a trade target to begin with. The 34-year-old is at six goals, 12 points, 62 shots on net, 94 hits, 33 blocked shots and 58 PIM across 64 appearances between the Sabres and the Rangers this season.

Sabres' Colten Ellis: In doubt Saturday
Ellis is questionable to suit up against the Maple Leafs on Saturday due to an undisclosed injury, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
