Olivier has played in the Blue Jackets' first two games in December after he was scratched for nine of 15 contests in November. Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Contributes helper in loss
Werenski notched an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Bruins.
Werenski has four helpers over his last three contests, though this was the first time in six games he didn't block a shot. The 26-year-old blueliner has stayed fairly healthy this season, and he's showing what he can do when unimpeded by injuries, racking up a goal and 18 assists over 24 contests. He's added 58 shots on net, 37 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating while playing a massive role on the top pairing and first power-play unit.

Blue Jackets' Spencer Martin: Stunned by natty hatty
Martin allowed three goals on 28 shots in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Bruins.
Martin put together a strong effort through two periods, but Brad Marchand bested him three times in 5:50 early in the third to flip the game around. The 28-year-old Martin has been just fine as a backup for the Blue Jackets this season, but with Daniil Tarasov (knee) inching closer to a return, the team will have to make a decision in the crease soon. Martin is 2-6-1 with a 3.20 GAA and a .902 save percentage behind a weak team, so he could benefit if he switches organizations via trade or waivers in the near future. If he's still with Columbus by the end of the week, he'll likely make his next start either Thursday against the Islanders or Friday versus the Blues.

Blue Jackets' Daniil Tarasov: Placed on LTIR and sent to AHL
Tarasov (knee) was placed on long-term injured reserve on Saturday and sent to AHL Cleveland on a conditioning stint.
Tarasov has yet to play this season after going into training camp with a knee problem. Tarasov should get in plenty of playing time at Cleveland over the next eight days, as the Monsters play five times. Tarasov could replace Spencer Martin as the backup goaltender behind Elvis Merzlikins upon his return to the Columbus lineup.

Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Finds twine Friday
Fantilli scored a goal on two shots, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Friday's 4-2 win over the Senators.
Fantilli's second-period tally stood as the game-winner. The 19-year-old had been stuck in a rut recently, finishing November with just one assist and a minus-8 rating over his last nine games. Hot and cold stretches are bound to happen for a player that was just drafted in June. Blue Jackets' Kent Johnson: Practices on top line
Johnson practiced on the top line during Thursday's practice, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
Johnson was called up Thursday after Wednesday's disappointing loss in Montreal. Blue Jackets head coach Pascal Vincent put his lines in a blender and came up with Johnson in a top-six role upon his return to Columbus following an impressive five goals and 15 points in 10 games at AHL Cleveland. Columbus desperately needs offense, and Johnson could deliver. Vincent added that the team doesn't want Johnson yo-yoing between the NHL and AHL, indicating he's here to stay.
