Kings' Carl Grundstrom: Sends helper in win
Grundstrom posted an assist, five shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
Grundstrom hadn't recorded an assist since Oct. 14, though he's chipped in the occasional goal or two throughout the season. He set up a Trevor Moore tally in the third period. Grundstrom has mainly filled a bottom-six role in 2023-24, amassing nine points, 40 shots on net, 45 hits, six PIM and a plus-6 rating through 21 appearances.

Kings' Mikey Anderson: Snags apple in win
Anderson logged an assist, two shots on goal, two hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
Anderson was limited to just a single assist over 11 contests in November, a mark he's already matched one game into December. The 24-year-old defenseman had a strong start to the campaign on offense, but his mainly defensive role meant that was unlikely to last, as evidenced by his rapid cool-down. He's at nine points, 26 shots on net, 36 hits, 39 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating through 21 outings. Anderson still has a good chance to top his career high of 20 points from last season.

Kings' Anze Kopitar: Franchise's all-time assist leader
Kopitar notched an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
Kopitar earned his 10th assist of the season on Quinton Byfield's game-winning goal in the third period. The helper was Kopitar's 758th career assist, the most in Kings franchise history. The center racked up 10 points over 11 outings in November and has 20 points, 45 shots on net, 17 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating through 21 contests overall. He continues to provide elite two-way play on the top line, even at 36 years old.

Kings' Adrian Kempe: Hands out pair of helpers
Kempe notched two assists and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
Kempe helped out on both of Quinton Byfield's tallies in the contest. While he's picked up four assists over his last five games, Kempe has not scored a goal in that span, which is his longest stretch without a marker this season. The 27-year-old is still playing on the top line, racking up 22 points, 72 shots on net, 24 hits, 16 PIM and a plus-14 rating through 21 appearances. Given that role and his overall steady production, it's unlikely he fails to find twine for much longer.

Kings' Drew Doughty: Deposits empty-netter
Doughty scored an empty-net goal, blocked four shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
Doughty went 12 games without a goal, and he added a mere four assists in that span. The 33-year-old defenseman snapped the goal slump with an empty-netter, which could get him back on track. For the season, he's at five goals, six assists, 35 shots on net, 34 blocked shots, 31 hits and a plus-12 rating through 21 outings. Regardless of how he does on the scoresheet, his defensive play keeps him locked on the Kings' top pairing.

Kings' Trevor Moore: Pots insurance goal
Moore scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
Moore has impressed with five goals and two assists over his last five outings. The winger's tally Sunday stretched the Kings' lead to 3-1. Moore is up to 12 goals this season, just five shy of matching his career high from 2021-22. He's up to 20 points, 59 shots on net, 14 hits and a plus-7 rating through 21 appearances, mainly in a second-line role with ice time in all situations.

Kings' Quinton Byfield: Tallies twice in win
Byfield scored a pair of goals on five shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
Byfield tallied to tie the game in the second period and then added the game-winner 13:26 into the third. This was the second multi-goal game of his career. The 21-year-old forward is providing solid offense in a top-line role, though he had gone without a point in the two contests prior to Sunday's victory. He's up to six tallies, 18 points, 39 shots on net and a plus-13 rating through 21 appearances this season. While his production is mostly confined to offense, he's on an impressive pace in what looks to be his breakout campaign.

Kings' Cam Talbot: Solid in Sunday's victory
Talbot turned aside 20 of 21 shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
Talbot gave up a goal to Josh Manson in the first period, but he blanked the Avalanche the rest of the way. Talbot has eight wins over his last 10 outings, and he's given up more than two goals just once in that span. The 36-year-old is up to a strong 11-4-1 record with a stellar 1.96 GAA and a .930 save percentage through 16 games. He's taken the No. 1 job and run with it, though he'll look to take the show on the road as the Kings play all four of their games over the next week in the Eastern time zone.

Kings' Jacob Moverare: Rises to NHL
Moverare was promoted from AHL Ontario on Saturday, per CapFriendly.
Moverare shuttles between Los Angeles and Ontario on a near-daily basis, so this is nothing new. He'll serve as a depth option for the Kings.

Kings' Tobias Bjornfot: On conditioning assignment
Bjornfot, who is on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury, has been sent to AHL Ontario on a conditioning loan.
Bjornfot hasn't played for LA since Oct. 11. He did report to AHL Ontario on Nov. 16 for a conditioning stint, but he was then injured in an AHL game last Tuesday. That led to him being recalled by the Kings and put on IR. Once he's fully healthy and returns to LA, he will likely serve primarily as the seventh defenseman and regularly be a healthy scratch.

Kings' Adrian Kempe: Goal drought continues
Kempe failed to score a goal against the Capitals on Wednesday despite seven shots on net.
Kempe's goalless streak currently sits at four games, during which he has recorded a combined 12 shots. Last season, Kempe's longest drought was seven games in late February, so it's unlikely this slump will continue much longer. The forward faces a tough matchup against Colorado on Sunday, but afterward he'll see more favorable matchups against Columbus and Montreal on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.

Kings' Andreas Englund: Offers helper
Englund notched an assist and four hits in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals.
Englund has an assist in each of the last two games after going four contests without a point. The 27-year-old has made the most of his regular role on the Kings' third pairing, earning seven points with 45 hits, 20 blocked shots, a plus-8 rating and 29 PIM through 20 outings this season. His toughness and passable offense could make him an option for fantasy managers in deep formats.

Kings' Jordan Spence: Provides assist in loss
Spence logged an assist in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals.
Spence has enjoyed a solid run lately with six helpers over his last nine contests. The 22-year-old defenseman remains a consistent presence in the lineup, albeit in a third-pairing role with fairly limited ice time. He's up to nine assists, 16 shots on net, 13 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 19 appearances this season.

Kings' Arthur Kaliyev: Pots lone goal in loss
Kaliyev scored a goal on two shots in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals.
Kaliyev opened the scoring at 9:04 of the first period, but the Kings' only lead of the game lasted just over three minutes before Anthony Mantha tied it up. Kaliyev has shown signs of warming up on offense with two goals and two assists over his last five outings. For the year, the 22-year-old is at 11 points, 37 shots on net and a plus-7 rating over 18 contests. His fourth-line role at even strength is discouraging, but he remains part of the second power-play unit, giving him a chance to produce solid offense.

Kings' Cam Talbot: Loses in low-scoring game
Talbot stopped 13 of 15 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals.
The Kings outshot the Capitals 38-15, but goals by Anthony Mantha and Connor McMichael were enough to send Talbot to just his second loss in eight November games. The 36-year-old has been sharper than he showed Wednesday, so it's safe to say this is just a bump in the road. He's at a 10-4-1 record with a 2.02 GAA and a .928 save percentage through 15 outings. The Kings are off until Sunday's home game versus the Avalanche.
