Kraken's Jordan Eberle: Nets lone goal in loss
Eberle scored a power-play goal on three shots in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Wild.
Eberle's goal tied the game at 1-1 in the second period, but the Kraken couldn't solve Filip Gustavsson again. Over his first three outings in December, Eberle has a goal and two assists after ending November in a five-game slump. For the season, the 35-year-old winger has nine goals -- matching his total from last year -- and 17 points while adding 68 shots on net, 26 hits and a plus-5 rating over 27 appearances.

Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Falls short versus Wild
Grubauer allowed two goals on 27 shots in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Wild. The last two goals were empty-netters.
Grubauer did his best to keep the game close, but the Kraken didn't give him enough support. This was his first regulation loss of the season, dropping the 34-year-old to a 4-1-1 record through eight appearances. He's added a steady 2.54 GAA and .900 save percentage in the backup role behind Joey Daccord. With Daccord struggling lately, Grubauer may be called upon more frequently, though the Kraken have no back-to-backs coming up in the immediate future. They host the Kings on Wednesday in their next game.

Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Set to face Minnesota
Grubauer will be between the home pipes Monday versus the Wild, according to Joe Pohoryles of Emerald City Spectrum.
Prior to making a relief appearance Thursday in Edmonton, Grubauer had won his last four outings, turning aside a combined 88 of 96 shots (.917 save percentage) in victories over Pittsburgh, San Jose, Winnipeg and St. Louis. The 34-year-old has received limited work in 2025-26, but he has yet to lose in regulation across seven appearances (4-0-1). The Wild have faltered of late, losing back-to-back games in Calgary and Vancouver, and they've scored just eight goals across their last five contests.

Kraken's Berkly Catton: Deemed week-to-week
Catton (upper body) is week-to-week, the team announced Monday.
During his last outing, Catton logged 12:17 of ice time in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Detroit. He has compiled five assists, 17 shots on goal and 14 blocked shots across 21 appearances this season. With Catton set to miss some time, Jani Nyman will probably return to the lineup in Monday's game against Minnesota.

Kraken's Cale Fleury: Stuck in press box
Fleury was scratched for the 19th game in a row in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings.
The Kraken made a rare change on defense, but it was to get Josh Mahura a game while Jamie Oleksiak was scratched. Fleury is at the bottom of the depth chart with Seattle carrying eight blueliners, so it doesn't look like he'll have a clear path to playing time any time soon. He could be a candidate for a conditioning loan in the AHL at some point if the Kraken don't want to risk losing Fleury on waivers.

Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Finds twine in Saturday's loss
Stephenson scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Stephenson ended his seven-game point drought with the tally. The Kraken scored just 16 times in that span, so there hasn't been a whole lot of offense to go around. The 31-year-old center continues to play on the second line while seeing time in all situations, but his lack of consistent offense makes him tough to roster in fantasy. Stephenson has five goals, 13 points, 35 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating through 26 appearances this season.

Kraken's Brandon Montour: Tallies in loss
Montour scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Montour has three goals and three assists over his last seven outings. The 31-year-old defenseman is up to six goals, 15 points, 59 shots on net, 33 blocked shots, 26 hits and a plus-3 rating through 22 contests this season. He's a steady source of offense from the blue line who can offer decent all-around production as well.

Kraken's Adam Larsson: One of each in loss
Larsson scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Larsson snapped a seven-game point drought with this performance. He tied the game at 2-2 in the second period and set up a Chandler Stephenson go-ahead tally later in the frame. For the season, Larsson has two goals, seven points, 27 shots on net, 37 hits, 57 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 26 appearances. The 33-year-old blueliner fills a shutdown role in the Kraken's top four and will likely top out around the 20-25 point range, though he can also pile up blocks.

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Yields four goals in loss
Daccord allowed four goals on 25 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Daccord is in a rough skid with four straight regulation losses. He's allowed 16 goals on just 85 shots in that span. The slump has him down to a 7-7-4 record with a 2.99 GAA and an .891 save percentage across 18 starts. The Kraken are set to face the Wild on Monday. With Daccord slumping, it wouldn't be surprising to see Philipp Grubauer get a start in the near future.

Kraken's Julius Miettinen: Notches three points
Miettinen scored twice and added an assist in WHL Everett's 8-2 win over Vancouver on Saturday.
Miettinen had started December with a pair of scoreless outings before this performance to get back on track. The forward is up to 16 goals and 38 points in 25 appearances, one point shy of matching his total from 36 regular-season outings last year. The Kraken prospect has taken a step up on offense and should continue to play well in a strong Silvertips offense.

Kraken's Mason Marchment: Set to return
Marchment (undisclosed) is expected to play against Detroit on Saturday, per Darren Brown of Sound of Hockey.
Based on Saturday's morning skate, Marchment will slot back into a third-line role after sitting out Thursday's 9-4 loss to Edmonton. He has recorded two goals, 11 points, 32 shots on net and 34 hits in 23 appearances this season. Due to Marchment's return, Jani Nyman is projected to be a healthy scratch.

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Slated to face Detroit
Daccord is slated to start at home against Detroit on Saturday, per South of Hockey.
Daccord will attempt to get back into the win column after going 0-3-1 with a 3.44 GAA and an .872 save percentage across his past four outings. The slump has dropped him to 7-6-4 with a 2.92 GAA and an .894 save percentage in 17 appearances this season. Detroit has struggled lately, posting a 1-3-2 record dating back to Nov. 24 to fall to 14-11-3 on the season.

Kraken's Nathan Villeneuve: Posts three points Friday
Villeneuve scored a goal and added two assists in OHL Sudbury's 3-1 win over Sarnia on Friday.
Villeneuve saw a seven-game point streak end in his last appearance versus Barrie last Friday. He bounced right back in this contest with his seventh effort of at least three points this season. The 2024 second-round pick of the Kraken is up to 11 goals and 22 helpers through 20 appearances for the Wolves this season. Among OHL players with at least 30 points this season, Villeneuve has the fewest games played -- all others have logged at least three more outings than he has.

Kraken's Ryan Lindgren: Not much action on offense
Lindgren has earned just two points over 15 games since the start of November, and he was held off the scoresheet in Thursday's 9-4 loss to the Oilers.
Lindgren has three helpers, 18 shots on net, 14 hits, 39 blocked shots, 33 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 25 outings this season. The 27-year-old's playing style is heavily defensive, though his physicality appears to be trending down this year as well. Nonetheless, the Kraken have kept Lindgren mainly on the second pairing as a counterbalance to the more talented Brandon Montour.

Kraken's Josh Mahura: Stuck outside of lineup
Mahura was scratched for the 12th game in a row in Thursday's 9-4 loss to the Oilers.
Mahura has no path to playing time, as the Kraken haven't made changes on defense since they got their preferred six blueliners healthy in early November. The 27-year-old has two points, nine shots on net, 13 hits, 21 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 13 appearances. He'll compete with Cale Fleury if an injury opens up a spot in the Kraken's defense later in the season.

Kraken's Kaapo Kakko: Supplies two helpers in loss
Kakko notched two assists in Thursday's 9-4 loss to the Oilers.
This was Kakko's second game back from a lower-body injury that cost him six contests. The 24-year-old winger has had two significant absences this year, which have prevented him from getting into a rhythm. He's now at one goal, three points, 10 shots on net, three hits and an even plus-minus rating across nine appearances.

Kraken's Jani Nyman: Scores in rare chance to play
Nyman scored a goal in Thursday's 9-4 loss to the Oilers.
Nyman played in just five of the Kraken's 14 games in November after being in the lineup for every contest in October. The winger's goal came in garbage time at 19:55 of the third period. He has four tallies, 20 shots on net, 15 hits and a plus-2 rating across 16 appearances. Nyman's got a good shot, but he won't be a fantasy option if he can't stick in the lineup.
