Maple Leafs' Matias Maccelli: Pots goal in loss
Maccelli scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Bruins.
Maccelli has scored in back-to-back games, earning a total of three points in that span. It follows a healthy scratch Monday versus the Penguins, which appears to have had the intended effect in igniting Maccelli's offense. The 25-year-old is in a middle-six role and has earned four goals, four helpers, 14 shots on net and a plus-2 rating across 14 appearances.

Maple Leafs' Nicholas Robertson: Six points in last five games
Robertson scored a power-play goal Saturday in a 5-3 loss to Boston.
Robertson has quietly put up six points, including three goals, and 12 shots in his last five games. He had two points (one goal, one assist) in his first nine contests. Robertson is getting more ice time and responsibility, and the results are obvious.

Maple Leafs' Dennis Hildeby: Appears in relief
Hildeby made 19 saves in relief in Saturday's 5-3 loss to Boston. He allowed one goal.
Hildeby was recalled earlier Saturday form the AHL Marlies. He'll be with the Leafs until Joseph Woll (personal) shakes the rust off in the AHL.

Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Pulled after giving up four goalss
Stolarz was pulled after allowing four goals on 19 shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to Boston.
He was replaced by Dennis Hildeby. Stolarz had won four straight before this outing. He'll bounce back, but we're watching his workload right now. Stolarz has essentially be carrying the freight this season with Joseph Woll (personal) away from the team. The latter is back and shaking off the rust in the AHL. Woll's return will help Stolarz stabilize his game -- he's good, but not good enough to carry a heavy starting load like this.

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Three points in last two games
Tavares notched a power-play goal in a 5-3 loss to the Bruins on Saturday.
Tavares went high blocker on Jeremy Swayman from the slot. He has three points, including two goals, in his last three games and 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists) in 15 games on the season. Tavares sits in the NHL's top-15 scorers, and he's tied for third in even-strength points (16).

Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly: Four-game, six-assist streak
Rielly picked up two assists in a 5-3 loss to Boston on Saturday.
The Leafs haven't been great this season, but that hasn't stopped Rielly from piling up points. He's on a four-game, six-assist streak, and he has 12 points, including 10 helpers, in 14 games this season. Remarkably, Rielly has just one power-play point in that mix. He put up significant points with the man advantage when he had his best seasons, so good things may come if the Buds can figure out their power play.

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Goes nearly two periods for Marlies
Woll (personal) stopped 21 of 24 shots in AHL Toronto's 3-2 loss to Lehigh Valley on Saturday.
In the first game of his conditioning assignment, Woll blanked the Phantoms on nine shots in the first period, but he gave up all three goals in the second. It's unclear how long he will stay in the minors or if he will play in any full contests before joining the Maple Leafs.

Maple Leafs' Scott Laughton: Out Sunday, needs more evaluation
Laughton (upper body) won't play Sunday versus the Hurricanes, but his status beyond that has yet to be determined, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
Laughton, who just recently returned from a lower-body injury, appears set for another absence. The 31-year-old was injured in the second period of Saturday's contest versus the Bruins on a heavy hit by Nikita Zadorov. With Laughton out, expect Calle Jarnkrok to get back in the lineup Sunday.

Maple Leafs' Scott Laughton: Sustains upper-body injury
Laughton suffered an upper-body injury and won't return to Saturday's game against Boston.
Laughton was playing in his second game of the season after missing the start of the campaign due to a lower-body injury. Laughton would be a mainstay in Toronto's bottom six if he stayed healthy. If Laughton ends up missing another chunk of time, Calle Jarnkrok or Sammy Blais will draw back into the lineup.

Maple Leafs' Dennis Hildeby: Set to join big club
Hildeby will be summoned from AHL Toronto on Saturday, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
Hildeby will be the backup behind Anthony Stolarz in Saturday's home game against Boston. The 24-year-old Hildeby has a 2-2-1 record with a 2.74 GAA and an .890 save percentage through five minor-league appearances this campaign. Hildeby could make his NHL season debut when Toronto hosts Carolina on Sunday.

Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Tending twine Saturday
Stolarz will protect the home goal versus Boston on Saturday, Luke Fox of Sportsnet reports.
Stolarz has won his last four starts, boosting his record to 6-4-1 with a 3.11 GAA and an .895 save percentage in 11 starts this season. He will face the Bruins, who are 15th in NHL scoring, averaging 3.19 goals per game.

Maple Leafs' Chris Tanev: Returns to ice
Tane (upper body) was back skating Saturday, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
Tanev was stretchered off the ice Nov. 1 in Philadelphia after his neck snapped back. It's believed he could have suffered whiplash on the play, as he wasn't diagnosed with another concussion. The veteran defenseman is eligible to return from injured reserve Saturday against the Bruins, but will likely need to sit out a bit longer. Tanev has two assists in eight games this season.

Maple Leafs' Travis Boyd: Erupts for four points in AHL win
Boyd scored twice and added two assists in AHL Toronto's 5-2 win over Hershey on Friday.
Boyd was once with Hershey while in the Capitals' organization, so this might have been a bit of a revenge game for the veteran forward. He's up to seven goals and four assists over nine outings in 2025-26. Boyd is playing well with the Marlies, but his path to the NHL is closed unless the Maple Leafs need to replenish their bottom-six forward depth at some point down the line.

Maple Leafs' Ben Danford: Two helpers against former OHL team
Danford posted two assists in OHL Brantford's 5-4 win over Oshawa on Friday.
Danford was traded to Brantford from Oshawa last Friday. The move has done wonders for Danford's offense, as he has six assists in four games with the Bulldogs after logging just four points in eight outings with the Generals to begin the year. The Maple Leafs' prospect should benefit from playing in the OHL's leading offense -- Brantford has 96 goals this year, 11 more than the next closest team.

Maple Leafs' Cayden Primeau: Placed on waivers
Primeau was placed on waivers Friday, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports.
Primeau's status was determined when Joseph Woll (personal) returned to Toronto after missing five weeks of action. While Primeau could be sent to AHL Toronto if he passes through waivers, the Maple Leafs will likely recall Dennis Hildeby to back up Anthony Stolarz while Woll is on a conditioning stint with the Marlies.

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Headed to AHL Toronto
Woll (personal) will be sent to AHL Toronto for a conditioning stint, Lance Hornby of The Toronto Sun reports Friday.
Woll has yet to see any game action, as he took a leave of absence early in training camp. The 27-year-old netminder was outstanding last season with the Maple Leafs, posting a 27-14-1 record with a 2.73 GAA and a .909 save percentage across 42 regular-season games. He should return within two weeks and will share the crease with Anthony Stolarz upon his return.

Maple Leafs' Simon Benoit: Practicing Friday
Benoit (illness) practiced Friday, according to Mark Masters of TSN.
Benoit was forced to miss Wednesday's tilt against Utah. The 27-year-old defenseman has two assists, 33 hits and 21 blocked shots across 13 appearances this season. Benoit has surpassed the 200-hit mark in each of his last three seasons and is on track to do so again in 2025-26. He should return to the lineup versus Boston on Saturday, with Dakota Mermis likely to be the odd-man out.

Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Tallies in Wednesday's win
Matthews scored a goal on two shots in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Mammoth.
Matthews is heating up with three goals and an assist over three outings in November. The 28-year-old had been limited to one helper over the three contests to close out October. He's produced eight goals, 12 points, 57 shots on net, 27 blocked shots, 12 hits, six PIM and a plus-10 rating through 14 appearances as the centerpiece of Toronto's offense.
